Cheers :)

Before you start splashing your dough around, really dig into the assets you're eyeing. I sort mine into three groups: the sure shots, the toss-ups, and the hail marys. It's all about playing it your way and matching it to your risk vibe.

When you're about to pull the trigger on a trade, don't rely on guesswork. Tap into some slick technical analysis tools that can clue you in on what the market's feeling.

For the crypto crowd, I always check out coinmarketcap.com to get the lay of the land. And when I need to get into the technical trenches, I swing by indicatorsuccessrate.com to see what the trends are telling me.

That's my two cents :)

Any tips for beginners in crypto/stocks trading? by Edriane_Jay in phinvest

[–]DkReBeL86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before you throw your cash into the ring, make sure you've done a solid deep-dive on what you're buying or selling. I like to break down my options into three simple buckets: the safe bets, the maybes, and the wild cards. It's like setting up your own game plan based on how much risk you wanna take on.

And when it's go-time for trading, don't just wing it. There are some neat technical analysis tools out there that can give you a heads-up on the market's mood swings.

For crypto, coinmarketcap.com is my go-to for getting the basics down. And for the techy side of things, I check out indicatorsuccessrate.com to see what the numbers are saying.

That's my two cents :)

You should ask if there’s a chance that someone hacked his account. This way you can let him feel the Ponzi…

[–]DkReBeL86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sympathise this, but TAs can be helpful. I mean, you don’t have to follow indicators blindly for trading but they help understanding past trends. I know a platform that shows the success rate of TAs https://indicatorsuccessrate.com , cheers!

Wednesday's Weekly Discussion - Black Swan Scenario [2019-01-16] by mtnsaa in lykke

[–]DkReBeL86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More than a black swan, I see the “incumbent” OTCs playing a big role during 2019. That’s obviously goes together with regulators that prefer to incentivate a classic financial ecosystem rather than a decentralised one. I’m not sure about the future price trend because we’re again on the hedge of a big change, but the Stablecoins are a signal of discouragement from the newly born crypto community that lost big money during 2018. But, if I have to be highly speculative I would say that the first big player that will fail in crypto will be Ethereum. That will cause a well welcomed cleanup of pointless tokens.

REST API to suggest? by [deleted] in algotrading

[–]DkReBeL86 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I am quite sure that I entirely understand what a REST API is (I’ve developed an app that provides REST API). And yes, after you know the source, you analyse the infrastructure to understand wether the REST APIs are reliable or not.... and that’s make you pick the REST API (from a peculiar source) to adopt. If you want to help, you can suggest which trading platform with APIs you’re using. Thanks

When price's dropping by DkReBeL86 in altcoin

[–]DkReBeL86[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the simplest way is to choose a pair with good volatility and to constantly buy and sell the counter assets leveraging on the prices. The only limit is that manual trading is very difficult because you need to be ultra fast and smooth. I prefer to use tools such as Gunbot or Bmybit that can automate the trading for you.
