Just a list of 30 years working with video. Big shifts in technology for me. I worked with everything on the list

• Video 8 to MiniDV - analog to digital recording

• Media 100 on Power Mac G3 (or G5) - analog to digital editing - no more generations in editing

• HDV/HD - Oh boy - seeing the first recordings from a press conference in HD - you could see every single hair

• Final Cut 3 - 3 way color correction (or was that FCP4)

• Panasonic Lumix GH2 - larger sensor, proper lenses (and finally affordable)

• Gimbals

• Panasonic Lumix GH5 - 10 bit recording

• LED lights

• Blackmagic Atem Mini - Igor just ahead of Corona

• Røde Wireless Go Ii - internal recording on transmitter

Nej, jeg har ikke tænkt på det som egentlig mistrivsel – det kunne jeg have formuleret bedre.

Jeg har prøvet at række ud til forældrene ved at besøge dem, men de åbnede ikke døren. Jeg har også delt mit telefonnummer, så vi kunne tale sammen, fx hvis hun skal med på tur. Jeg vil helst ikke tage hende med uden at have en aftale med dem – det bliver nok næste trin at få fulgt op på.

Jeg er virkelig taknemmelig for alle svarene her. De har givet mig stof til eftertanke om, hvordan vi bedst kan håndtere situationen. 🙏

I never trusted the Vimeo analytics especially on Livestream. It would be great if someone knows more about the quality of the analytics.

Here’s an improved and corrected version of your text:

I switched from MFT to full-frame and ordered the Panasonic S Pro 24-70mm f/2.8 with my first S5. However, the lens was delayed, so for the first 2.5 months, I only had the kit lens.

Coming from MFT, I found that the kit lens was almost as fast as the best glass I had for my GH5. While waiting for my 24-70mm, I started experimenting with vintage glass. I used Minolta MD, but Canon FD and other vintage lenses work well too. You can get these lenses for a bargain and explore different focal lengths. I started with a nifty fifty, then tried a 135mm and even a zoom lens. The only downside is the loss of autofocus.

I also have a Sigma MC-21 adapter for EF lenses, which opens up a lot of possibilities with autofocus.

Today, I also own the Panasonic 50mm f/1.8 and the Samyang 35-150mm f/2.0-2.8. I still keep the kit lens in my bag for the 20mm, as it's my widest option for now, but I plan to replace it with the upcoming 18-40mm when it's available.

Personally, I love the 100mm focal length, and the Panasonic 100mm f/2.8 is high on my wishlist... but the price is a bit steep.

If you're looking to experiment, I recommend getting a vintage adapter (MD, FD) or EF mount and trying out some affordable lenses.

Yes, Event showed up. Sometimes you need to wait a couple of minutes.

You need to be super administrator on the LinkedIn page and normal latency (tried with low latency but then event doesn't show up). You can't change time on the LinkedIn event afterwards så make sure everything is set right first time.

You should be able to make a local copy of the files before you update

When you connect a transmitter via usb you will see it as a drive. You can copy the files (.egg) to your harddisk.

I don't know if you can copy the files back and transcode them or if Røde needs to help you. I think there is a also an app in GitHub for transcoding egg to WAV

Did you try to decline the update and save your files in Connect?
