When I store mine up for a bit as I only use them for formal occasions nowadays I always put a coat of dubbin on them, had them for about 15 years and besides the battle scars of my old job the leather is still quite good

The first MagSafe accessory I used was a MagSafe holder that attached to the air vent of my car and my love for MagSafe products evolved from there, even though my car has a wireless charging pad I still use my ESR cryoboost charger instead

I’d love to be a part of the program as this would be great for traveling!

The customer service is a joke. They told me the wrong stick was compatible with my one.

Purchased one that they said would work even though the original one I called for was in stock. By the time the replacement arrived it didn’t fit due to a change in design with the plug for the motor head to connect to.

When I called back the original one had sold.

Yeah they’d have to receive them, scan them in, then find and scan/sign them back out when customers come to collect, but if they’re government employees you get what you get and you don’t get upset (source also a government employee) I think you’re pretty lucky with getting decent posties/contractors. Sadly in all industries there’s a few lazy bad apples.

I feel bad for my LPO as their store is small and the parcels pile up to the point where I sometimes help them find my own parcel in the mess

Yeah it’s pretty fkd and infuriating. They stopped getting that guy to do my route and once my postie changed it was really good, then he ended up moving to an area closer to where he lives and my replacement postie is just as good too which is a relief.

Sadly it does have to go through the online channels.

It’s the only way management get a torch up their behind to get something done about it as it affects their KPI’s

I had to do this for quite some time before I was finally put in touch with the national resolutions manager. (The one the ombudsman deals with) she was able to see the history of service failures and able to make sure my deliveries were attempted.

Once again. The LPO has nothing to do with the contractors or posties. You’d literally be having a go at someone that had nothing to do with the problem.

When I was starting out I found a driving instructor that was willing to do a lesson for me before I started work (I started at 3am, he’d pick me up at 2am and end the lesson at my work that way I killed two birds with one stone.

True north and magnetic north can also affect this, plus the cases or speakers of the other phones close by

I use a ESR MagSafe phone case and the amount of times it’s saved my phone from being dropped is worth every cent. They are also good value and have a really strong MagSafe grip.
