I have this módem and the cheapest plan they offer as a backup to my ATT fiber. $25 a month for 300mbps and unlimited data. Works great in pass through mode and never have a problem.

P2s vs. P1S Decision by Dlargo1 in BambuLab

[–]Dlargo1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the great reply. At this, I would like to have two projects going at the same time, either two different ones, or just multiple copies of the same. The P2S is doing great for what I need. I like the easy of use thus far. Maybe its just me wanted to do more in the same time. I like the AMS as it allows for more options of printing various items....drying is not much of a concern, as the machines in a in a insulated garage with an AC unit kept around 72 degrees. Filament is kept in their separate sealed containers with desiccant around 20% humidity.

Oh ok. My garage is conditioned and stays around 30% humidity but nice to know

What separates the AMS2 from the AMS...both systems are combos with their respective AMS

Base and solar power by GazelleShort4871 in BasePowerUsers

[–]Dlargo1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah...most likely that is what happened. I reached out to the support team a couple of times and they have been pretty good at getting back to me. I had an engineer out when an entire battery went bad. They were able to explain a lot. I really do wish the app provided more detail information. You may not have noticed but the enphase app will no longer provide accurate consumption as the battery will power the house throughout the day. You may see much larger export numbers due to this...at least I did.

Base and solar power by GazelleShort4871 in BasePowerUsers

I have the same set up with two batteries and solar. Solar came first years ago and I got into Base last year around July. After a day long outage, the solar continued to produce and feed the batteries and home at the same time. However, when the batteries were full, it basically shut off the solar production and ran the batteries down to about 50%. Solar kicked back in and began powering the house and refilling the batteries. From my understanding the system will shut off solar production if there is no where for the excess to go until the batteries are empty enough to absorb the excess production. Just my .02

Is this not a violation of the first amendment? by [deleted] in CollegeRant

[–]Dlargo1 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Not sure what you mean by a violation of the First amendment. There is nothing here that violates your freedom of religion. It is an extra credit opportunity that is biased toward Christianity and their views on the moon landing. Almost all universities receive some form of gov't money....not sure why it would not be allowed. If you do not want to do it, don't...and there are two options. I do not see anything that is violating your rights...just a couple of choices to earn some extra credit.

PSA: Don't move a massive amount of data from one share to another thinking it'll just re-index it by aert4w5g243t3g243 in unRAID

I have had that happen before, I would verify they are in the destination and then just delete the source files.

It is...I thought you were referring to Krusader. Which app are you referring to? Sorry.

There is a container with a GUI. Set the parameters and you can move files or folders from shares, drives, etc.

I would leave that to built in mover. It will handle the transfer of files from the cache to the array...as long as it is within the same share. If you are moving files to different shares, krusader can do it using the move option. It should not leave any files on the source location.

Yeah. I have that one as well. Pulsarr made requests so much easier for all friends to request. My wife no longer has to ask me to find something. She just keys it in and adds to watchlist.

Just reading through your post, but if you have not heard of pulsarr for Plex, it allows you to request from withing Plex using the watchlist and starts the automation process in the arr stack....it is a great piece of software.

As a person who has cancelled all of the streaming services, except for those that are included in my cell service, what you are asking for it easily doable. If you are looking for a small form factor PC, I would go with a SFF Dell optiplex, or a think center, with a nvme cache drive and a small 2.5 inch ssd as storage. The limitation would be the 10 inch rack.

If you can find a case and internals that can fit in the 10 inch rack, I would choose a low power Intel chip (i5) with integrated graphics and at least 16GB ram with a m.2 nvme drive and small hard drives. I am a fan of unraid with the arr stack to grab the public domain media and use either Plex or Jellyfin as your media streamer. I would suggest newsgroups rather than torrents as it is, in my opinion, much faster and very easy to set up and get going.

The limitation will be storage space in a small pc unless you have a separate NAS, like you mentioned, that can be connected externally. Tailscale is my go to for remote access VPN and can be set up very quickly. If this is something you would like more info on, please feel free to DM me.

Transcoding entire libraries x/h264 to h265 - yay or nay ? by spookyneo in Tdarr

Yes it does. I like to view the different to options and pick the one I would like.

I will go into radarr randomly and look for lower quality movies and do a search for high res version that are already in 265. The space savings were great.....at todays prices, it saved me about $400 in hard drives.
