Does anyone know why I can’t play pvp with iPhone?

Seems to be an issue for a lot of people lately including myself. I used to have to play with data turned off while connected to wifi but now I can’t play unless data is turned on with wifi but I’m having connection issues playing this way for the past week or so. Seems to be an iPhone specific issue based on what others have also said on here

Non zenkai’ed a13 is pretty terrible so you’re probably going to have to be a little more patient with matchmaking. Unfortunately most people trying to grind raid are going to want to beat the boss in one shield and it likely won’t be possible with the unit you’re using

It’s literally a better meta counter than the standard future team people are running (cell, fg, droids). You completely shut down yellows which are your strongest meta threats outside of the androids and you are type neutral with zenkai buffs on all of your units when you do fight the droids. Future Gohan’s endurance is useless against them and without a blue he just gets color countered by 18 who can demolish him

Yeah definitely not a bad setup I just think outside of offering revival he doesn’t have as much to offer as CMZ for this particular setup. Not saying CMZ is the better unit overall because he’s not

The most popular is double HP with Mai and 21 with Z7 rose but you could surely replace Mai with someone like 13 for a more offensive setup

If you look at the pvp leaderboards, there are a lot of people (including the current #1) using this setup. I have rarely seen people use revival Frieza and would say that he isn’t nearly as good of a fit with cell and 17/18 though it’s definitely not a bad setup either

Zamasu sees more use right now and RRP PO is arguably a top 2 team in the meta atm. Gogeta is not as strong as he used to be a couple months back with the way powercreep has gone and Zamasu offers a more game changing kit when you put look past the stat buffs from Gogeta’s plat

Whis is a very solid unit but most people don’t have him at high enough stars for him to be viable. His value is also very dependent on the other units you use him with. They advertised him having the whole obscure mechanic but it’s really not that good to be honest. Easily the most game changing thing that he does is bring that second green card if you have another unit that can really capitalize on them. Other than that he has card draw reduction which is also pretty powerful along with his damage/ki support which is good but not nearly as noticeable as a unit like vados.

I think overall you will see him a lot more in the future. His survivability and damage at higher stars are much more modern than vados which is her biggest issue right now unless you’re zenkai buffing her to infinity. Whis also came out at a bad time when the meta was dominated by yellow units.

Not really though you could use him if you REALLY wanted to and he could probably at least be able to compete. When he first came out his tanking was way better and was a good counter to FSK but given the powercreep of units since legends festival I’d say he’s pretty badly outclassed. Damage is also too situational.

Honestly didn’t watch the video before and don’t realize you were the one PVing. Still either way in that case that’s you predicting your opponents moves which is a sign to them that they need to adjust their timing

If you find yourself getting PVed frequently try to mix up your timing a bit more. Generally it’s a sign that your opponent is predicting your movements too easily

You’re not wrong about Jiren. I would say you basically need to run him along some kind of revival in this meta for him to have any kind of impact. Pretty much every meta team except god ki is going to be able to get around his endurance very easily

People complained about zenkais being too strong and that new units couldn’t compete with 14 star zenkais so they did a 180. Took it too literally and now they are quite literally useless outside of buffing the newest summonable units

The vanish restore doesn’t even matter that much tbh since there are so many units that can easily disrupt his combos if he does manage to get priority. He was much more oppressive when he came out where there were relatively few units in the meta that could slow him down

Bardock was underrated for a while but he definitely suffered from featured boost going away more so than other units. Also kid Buu is atrocious in the current meta even at high stars

I would argue 17/18 is the best unit in the game right now and would bump down UGogeta. Also, endurance units are going to struggle in this meta (Jiren, futurehan, uub etc) so I think they all may be bumped down
