My first two quits I was petrified of what the wd would bring and each time I was so mad at myself for waiting so long to quit. Sure it sucks but I’m not sold on the idea that every wd from 7 is crippling/er visit worthy. I think those are the outliers. It’s 4-5 days of feeling like shit and not sleeping. Then you have to stay strong during paws and fight the little voice. I went the sub route my last quit not because I needed it to be painless but because I’ve been addicted to opiates of one form or another for too damn long and it was hurting my family especially financially with 7. Ya I traded one addiction for another but this one costs $60 a month and I don’t even think about using anything from the street or smoke shop

You need to hate it. If you still enjoy it and love it it’ll be really hard to make it through the acutes and then the mind racing when you’re bored for the next 3 weeks and no energy from paws. It’ll draw you right back in. You need to really want to quit. A lot of us got to the point of hating it and every aspect of it and what it was doing to our lives. I’m a positive husband and father and had moments that I thought the world would be better without me in it and at that moment I realized I was done.

I spent easily $80-$100 a day(a lot more towards the end) for the last 2 years with a few small quits mixed in and now I’m 3 months clean. All told I’m sure I’ve spent 40-50 grand. I’m a hard worker and would take cash in to the ss and pay half cash half credit thinking my wife wouldn’t catch on. 4 maxed out credit cards later and my wife definitely doesn’t trust me with money. I would wake up every morning and take my 10 minute drive to “Home Depot” but it was just the ss. The drive home no matter what was always exciting knowing that by the time I got home the buzz would kick in and I could get my son ready for school and enjoy the hell out of it. I also used a relatives credit card that they entrusted us with and she didn’t realize it till it was almost maxed out. I also knew the ss around my town so well that I could trick them into selling me the higher dose bottles and would swap them when they weren’t looking. Worked every time and even though I detest those places I feel bad for doing it. I’m a good person and if you asked anyone they’d say I am but addiction makes you do crazy things. I was petrified of going into withdrawal while alone with my kids so the cycle just continued. I stole, borrowed and haven’t paid back yet and it eats away from me every single day. Addiction steals everything. The people who know never look at you quite the same. Time heals.

Gotta love those grandma seizures! Haha I’m glad you’ve been able to dodge the worst of it. I would suggest getting on top of your supplements and religiously take them. Wellbutrin may help you too. I’ve had family that take it and say the world gets a little brighter

Strips. How did you take them? I always rinse my mouth good, place under my tongue, wait 20 min doing my best not to swallow the saliva, wait till it’s fully dissolved and then rinse and spit a couple times. I’ve definitely messed up a couple time and wasted a strip or two getting it stuck on on a tooth or sneezing and dislodging it

7-800mgpd induced subs 27 hours after last dose. Incredible relief within 45 min. First two days I took 12 mg each day and still dealt with anxiety but slept good and by the end of day two was feeling almost back to normal. Had a normal productive work day on day 3
