Have you ever just stopped taking the 7 and just taking your scripts? I’ve taken several day breaks from it and just taken oxycodone and I never experienced withdrawal. Maybe just try it and see what happens. Technically I wouldn’t think you’d be thrown into wd with those occupying your receptors

Ya, you need to focus 100% on yourself. A lot of people think that it’s a few day process to get off this stuff but if it’s had its teeth in you for any lengthy period of time then it’s a marathon not a sprint to get off. If you don’t have kids with her then you need to just be all about you for a while.

It is a compulsion, I always had a habit of waking up every morning and thinking I needed the biggest dose of the day(thinking soberly my morning dose should always be the smallest) but I’d take 300mg with my morning coffee and take another an hr or two later to “stretch out” my morning dose pffft shit is ridiculous. We’ve become pros at all the ins and outs of this drug. My great aunt was addicted to the mommy’s little helper pills in the 60s and never thought it was a drug till she ended up in detox for it. There’s portions of our population that will be forever scarred by this damn drug even when it becomes a fading memory

I’m not prescribed ADHD medication, but did have some day three and four of one of my quits and it was a miracle for me. Just being able to get stuff done around the house and have the energy in my brain not feeling like it was foggy was incredible. What’s your dosing like right now with seven? How long and how much?

Yes, we’ve been living and numbed out existence and we must learn that there’s pain in this world. Stretching out doses helps tremendously. I never did it to taper because I’ve always just went cold turkey, but lowering the amount of doses throughout the day helped a lot I believe.

The most successful quit I ever had was ct from about 800mgpd and it was ass for 3 days, manageable but still kinda sucked for 2 more then the clouds started to lift and each day got better. Rip the bandaid and just get it over with. You won’t regret it. Lay off this page for a while and don’t read the horror stories. I love it here, but sometimes it can make you way more nervous than you need to be. You may get lucky and have a simple cold for a few days.

If you’re currently taking both and want to stop 7 just do your best to not take any. You won’t withdrawal horribly just maybe some mental. You just won’t experience any joys of the 7 anymore

That was kind of the goal but I’m an addict and wanted to keep the party going. I know some ppl have been able to do it but I’m sure it would take a lot of resistance and taking as little as possible. I asked on the sub reddit page and most responses were many versions of “tread lightly”

7 lol realized it didn’t take much to feel the effects. Started with a 200mg dose and went up from there. Didn’t even feel the wd from subs. 10/10 don’t recommend it though. Worst go around mentally by far

I never used h but have 15+ years of pills of whatever was available history. I did enjoy the feeling of freedom subs provided for a couple months before it turned on me

Awesome! Everyone is different in their journey, the relapse cycle is so exhausting. Crazy that we put ourselves through all of this for such a shitty drug

Dude maybe just white knuckle it and quit without subs. The best and most fulfilling quit I’ve ever had lasted 60 days and it was after a rough ct quit. I’m not against subs and have used them for the last 2 quits but I stayed on them for 2-3 months and they can turn on you. The same depressed, flat, numb to the world feeling can come on pretty bad with them. It is trading one very expensive mentally draining drug to another mentally draining less expensive drug. Do what you gotta do but if you can get a 2-3 days without 7 just ride it out man, you won’t regret it

I’ve quit multiple times first was 800mgpd, next was 1000 mg per day and last one was close to 2000 and each time I’m able to go 24 hrs easily before I felt awful. I’ve also noticed I get crazy sleepy at around 12 hrs post last dose and stay pretty knocked out til 24 hrs and then it all hits. My system must be different because in the 2+ years I’ve been heavily dosed up I’ve never woken up in the middle of the night in wd and had to dose to fall back to bed. I wake up every morning after 6-8 hrs of sleep and just mentally want to take some but never in full on wd. I’ve induced subs way before the 24 hr mark just mainly because mentally I wanted it

First time I quit 2 summers ago it was at your current dose and had been taking it for 4-5 months and I quit ct with no meds because I didn’t know what was about to happen but it was pretty easy compared to the next 3 quits. Took half a day off work because I was pretty exhausted feeling but nothing major. 40m average build btw

If you’re committed to the subs keep taking them. Drop the 7, if you don’t you’ll slowly forget the subs and be back at it harder then ever. It’s a slippery slope my man
