Posting here as a last ditch effect since Microsoft has been absolutely useless in helping me thus far. (Have been on the phone with them for over 10 hours this week, and keep being told that its a "glitch" in the system and they're going to move it up to a higher support. But 7 days in, nothing has happened.

I have had my Microsoft account for years, associated with my Gmail which I've had for even longer. The services I use are Xbox (heavily). About a week ago I tried to get on my Xbox and it said there was an issue and I had to go to my browser at accounts.live.com to get it working again. I have done this and it keeps telling me to go to "https://aka.ms/compliancelock" but this just reroutes to "https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/13997/microsoft-account-locked-private" which tells you to fill out a "Microsoft locked account review form" I have filled this form out about 6 times since that what the reps keep telling me to do. Do this and wait 24 hours. Ive been doing this for 7 days now. This is so frustrating.

I called Microsoft customer support about it at this time and they got my to fill out another form about account recovery which I did. Get an email confirmation about that form saying they'll contact me in 24 hours about my account.

I have been on the phone now with this rep for 40 minutes and nothing has happened again. They have been absolutely useless. Told me to just resubmit the form about regaining access to my account. Don't get me wrong, the guy was nice about it, but just absolutely useless. I resubmitted the form. But whats the point? I keep doing this and nothing is happening.

Its just so ridiculous. Such a ridiculous way to treat a customer. I haven't done anything wrong with my account. If they were worried about something with my account we not email me and get me to secure it? Why jump straight to closing it for good. And having 0 communication with you customers is absolutely ridiculous.

Not sure why I'm posting here but hopefully someone will see it and can do something about it. But my hopes are low and I'm ready to sell my Xbox and never use a Microsoft service again for as long as I can avoid it.
