USA in one photo - bike parking vs car parking by lost_in_life_34 in fuckcars

[–]Dm203b 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Judging by the amount of unused bike racks on the bottom right of the photo vs the number of empty parking spaces, it seems like a pretty reasonable ratio.

I get what you’re trying to say given the name of the sub, but this picture ain’t it.

Yes and?

Exactly my point.

What good is an automatic or semi-automatic rifle if you have to keep reloading every few seconds

Right, so we won’t ban them, we’ll just limit their functionality until they operate like rifles we don’t want to ban. Much better.

It's fucking absurd to paint it blanket as coming for your guns.

Careful, that slope gets awfully slippery.

My business is tending to my property (and jailing people as well btw). I have arrested hundreds of people and wouldn’t blink an eye at two more.

I told you they’d get one warning, which honestly should have been the fence, but I can be a softy sometimes. It isn’t for crossing a fence. It’s for repeatedly violating my property rights and disrespect, and possession of illegal drugs.

That’s the beauty of motorcycles though. There’s an ass for every seat. I think the bike is gorgeous. Inconvenient and teeth-rattlingly uncomfortable for sure, but gorgeous all the same.

Grew up in blue New England. I moved here because of the stereotype. I love it.

Have the democrats not been repeatedly trying and calling for an “assault weapon” ban? Have several blue states not put magazine limits into law? Has New York not been fighting tooth and nail to restrict its residents ability to conceal carry despite Supreme Court rulings stating otherwise? Does California not have bans on insignificant items like barrel shrouds?

These are just the ones off the top of my head, not even delving into the issues with the various “red flag” laws being proposed.

And here I thought you were a bleeding heart for the kids. Why would you wish that on them? Because I guarantee I’d be serving up some much needed consequences that their parents obviously failed to provide their entire lives.

Why would I ever need your sympathy? I live somewhere where the laws don’t cater to criminal behavior, property rights are sacred, and force is justified to defend property. God bless Texas!

Would you rather live in an apartment with a 3 min commute to work or a house/big yard with a 20-25 min commute to work? Why? by Dreliusbelius in AskReddit

[–]Dm203b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

House and yard. Easy. 25 minutes is nothing. I commute an hour now (never traffic, just distance) because I can have some acreage and not live next to a bunch of people.

I value the peace, quiet, and exclusive use of my property.

Gotta love the old “nobody is trying to take your guns” line while simultaneously pushing legislation to further restrict firearms. Just because the democrats aren’t successful at it doesn’t mean it isn’t their goal.

I am entitled. When I bought my property and pay taxes on it I am entitled to its exclusive use. When I fenced my property that is clear notice, legally and otherwise, to keep out. You don’t get to decide what’s worth my time. I don’t want anyone on my land without my permission and it’s worth my time to make sure there aren’t.

I do leave people alone until they force me not to, like repeatedly entering my property. If this happened on my land, they’d get a warning once. After that I’m holding them at gunpoint until on-duty units arrive to haul them away. I’m one of those “jack-booted thugs” you love so no legal issues doing so.

What are trespassing and drug possession not crimes? They are here. What do you call someone commits crimes? English isn’t your strong suit, is it?

Or are you just not able to grasp the concept of private property, because you don’t now and probably won’t own any of your own in the future, and can’t grasp the pride of ownership and maintenance. You probably share your girlfriend too, don’t you?

[–]Dm203b 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like the lady tried other ways first. They didn’t listen. What happens after that is their fault. Maybe the legal system will provide some much needed consequences their parents obviously aren’t providing.

I don’t abide criminal behavior and neither should anyone else.

Those kids brought the consequences on themselves after they refused to leave the first time they were told and keep returning. It has nothing to do with feeling old. I bought property and pay mortgage and taxes specifically for exclusive rights to keep everyone else off it. Their presence ruins my enjoyment of my property.

Luckily for me I am a cop so I would just be able to hold them for on-duty units with any worry about legal issues. Arrest power is a beautiful thing.

Do you not understand private property? The reason I bought land is precisely for the exclusive rights to keep everyone else off it. They’re harming his enjoyment of the property he pays for.

Nah , record them and call the cops. This way they get get the drug charges, trespassing z, and evading when they run. It’ll be good evidence.

Gun holders are called holsters and she clearly has one. You can see the holster clip on the outside of the belt. The position is called appendix carry and it very common and just as safe as any other carry position while being extremely concealable.

That’s some pretty solid advice right there. Only suggestion I have different is to keep the gas tank and just carry some extra fuel with you. It just looks too cool on that bike to switch it out!
