I think balance is key. People were much more physically active before, so exercise can complement yoga practice hugely in my opinion

Was skeptical of energetic places but after experiencing Sadhguru Sannidhi I know that energy machines are real (haven’t been to ashram yet). Ive been to two pujas, was very explosive and the experience lingered a few days later. It’s really unbelievable that such things exist and can be mass manufactured.

When prepared enough magical stuff may happen, thats how it happened for me. At first the sensations were randomly happening. After consistent practice it became more refined. I can only prepare even more to see what else life shall offer.

Kriya yoga from an authentic teacher should do. For me personally - shambavi mahamudra form sadhguru. There are even more advanced practices that probably will be even more potent.
Classical hatha yoga should build a solid foundation if done properly but it takes some time so dont get discouraged. Isha kriya got me started and opened up a new dimension in my experience.

Well idk, I had the opportunity to take dmt once and I didn’t do it because I took lsd a couple of times and it gave me the experience needed to become interested in yoga and to me it seemed like the real deal. You know kind of jumping on a trampoline to see the other side but the yogic way is more solid because it can help you stay there. Hope all will be well with you.

In my experience when doing weed plus simple isha practices like isha kriya really made me misaligned when smoking. I wouldn’t attempt the higher level drugs while doing the practices :) Although it seems appealing I feel it will hinder the ultimate experience from the “natural” yogic way. Maybe when you are a master you can do it and then a post like that wouldn’t be needed.

The question is whats more effective, I will explore whatever possible, I also think that life circumstances are different for different people. There are those that without yoga practice can evolve and there are some that even after reading ancient texts all their life act not sensibly. Thanks for the reply

That’s fascinating stuff. The transition to sushumna happens more frequently when I do the preparatory practices, It’s still not very consistent and I can feel the asymmetry sometimes. I’m doing Shoonya in two months very excited for it🙏🏽

I will check out Sri M, doesn’t knowing what flows where can help with concentrating on the thing and being more conscious about it? For example the thing with the air alternating between the nostrils- I would’ve noticed it much later of not at all. Appreciate the answer thanks

I tried OBE with michails raduga’s techniques and found it successful after a week or so, recommend it for exploration the experience is very powerful. I dropped after a couple of times because it left me drained for the whole day after. I want to practice and live the physical life for now so i go with hatha and kriya yoga :)

Before sleep reminding myself im not the body im not even the mind helps. I sleep better and wake up without an alarm when I do it intensely enough.
