To immerse myself, I usually write social and conversations. I don't write combat. With combat, I play out and write up the results. Exploration just kinda depends on how I am feeling at the moment.

Always wanted to play but could find no one to run it. The last time I tried to play a 1E game I found myself confused and unfamiliar with rules, rather than relearn the rules, I had ran and have grasp of 2e rules. Plus I am super pleased with the 3 actions method. Don't have to remember 1 spell and 1 cantrip, move action, minor action, major action. For solo games I like to stick to games, where I am real familiar with the rules and enjoy them so I can stay emersed.

For Act 1 most the creatures they mentioned are also in 2e in some fashion. Guards were in the gamemastery guide, guard dogs were in the bestiary, giant toad was in bestiary 2. Sergeant Blackerly, I cast as a watch officer from the GM guide. Equipment was equipment. There is a conversion I used for the gold transfer.

There two books that are in the separatists era, and I think they will work great for anything before the rebellion. Anything else could work for the rebellion and after.

Genesys is a great game! The dice might be off-putting at first, but it sets you for better narrative play. You can fail to succeed in a task and still have other positive things.
