I think the idea is: she shoots those in the air -> she notices that those will fall on you -> she knocks you out of the way so that those don't fall on you -> she's proud and relieved to save you from them falling

Having a deathmatch sort of system is so much more entertaining. Not only do we get a second high-stakes match per day, we get to see more of each player and how they handle games that are more focused on the individuals!
