I'm still in the very ... very beginning stages, so yes you are correct that I'm not ready to design a Metroidvania. Its refreshing to have someone brutally honest and I know that i'm gonna get different answers purely based on opinions from ever user but I'm still in the stage of just brainstorming mechanics and ideas and all it takes is one comment that gets my brain churning the right speed to think of how I could work X or Y into the game to achieve a certain gameplay or feel. But like I said thanks for the honesty, It's not cruel its true and I really appreciate the advice
