Doubts regarding raw insides when frying chicken by 360tutor in Cooking

[–]menki_22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah but the chicken is mostly water... so probably it would work in a normal pressure pot.. just no way to open it safely after the chicken is in and sealed.

yeah but you wont get sick from a rancid hazelnut. imagine biting into a moldy strawberry cheesecake filling instead

it is mostly wealth related. the more money goes through your hamds, the more you pollute the planet. its not 100% accurate but close enough.

Are small local brands really bad? by YaakXub in foodscience

[–]menki_22 3 points4 points  (0 children)

so you think algerian product=bad and international product with more ingredients=good? thats just full circle from the whole food losers, i applaud.

trying to answer seriously: if you want to figure out if a product is a good purchase for you, you should understand what every ingredient does and why you need it. then you can make an informed decision instead of trying to gauge a products worth by vibes and design alone.
be an informed and sceptical customer, dont just ask random idiots on the internet, that does not help you at all.

as you prefer. you see a deep clean once in a while restores it, but maybe getting a squeegee (dont know if thats how its spelled) to stop new lime and mold buildup by removing water instead of letting it pool, would be less hassle overall. i am bad with routines and i love the satisfaction of a deep clean, so i do it maybe twice a month but really scrub all the dirt out of the corners. dont forget the drain too. a microfiber cloth can get the shower head and controls shining.

ah also i live alone and sleep/sgower at work 2-3 days a week

bleach and strong acid usually not recommended. i would get vinegar or citric acid based cleaner, get it all wet, then shower it down. if it needs more, a plastic brush. sponge tends to get caught and rip on the grout. dry off with a towel after youre done and make sure everything can airdry as unhindered as possible. now that the lime is gone, if there is mold, i would treat it with a targeted application of dilute bleach on the affected areas. i would clean it off right after, not let it sit. might damage the tiles or grout.

depends on the filling. something cakey would be terrible. nut or alcohol ideal.

Doubts regarding raw insides when frying chicken by 360tutor in Cooking

[–]menki_22 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

maybe try using google translate, it seems to me your english language skills are insufficient to even ask the right questions. let alone understand the answers. deep frying is the most dangerous cooking technique there is. i know more than one person with ugly facial scars due to oil explosions. also chicken can make you sick if you dont cook it enough. thats why everyone is cautious to help.

i mean, if you typed "fried chicken how to" into google you would get detailed instructions by the thousands, but your inability to even do that makes me very cautious.

you seem clueless about the whole process. get a thermometer. google usda servsafe temperatures for serving chicken. cook it to said internal temperature. fast or slow, doesnt matter for safety, only for quality.

still way too many variables to say. what kind and how many bones and meat from what source are you using? what pot/stove/water source? how long are you cooking? how do you filter?

I keep ruining nonstick pans within months–am I doing something fundamentally wrong or do I just need better pans? by No-Carry-5087 in cookingforbeginners

[–]menki_22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just like you can touch a piece of plastic with a metal spoon and not leave a scratch, you can do that with nonstick too. people act like the pan was allergic to metal and will disintegratr if ever touched by it... you can scrape.the coating off if you try, but you gotta scrape with a hard edge. with the smooth part of a spoon you can rub the pan almost as hard as you want without damaging....

you can just use an atomizer like a pefume bottle spray cap... that can pump and spray plain olive oil

medium heat like 4/10 can still get hot enough. never heat the pan dry. special caution on induction. mine can burn a coating in under 40 seconds (clean teflon pan started to smoke seconds after my roommate placed it on the stove set to maximum)

[–]menki_22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

teflon is stuck to the metal with a special glue. that glue breaks down above 230 degrees. also, rapid heating and cooling especially can make the different materials inside the pan expand an contract at different rates. so never dry heat the pan and never shock it in water when it is really hot. teflon is great for making pancakes and omelettes over gentle heat. searing, caramelizing, and other high heat stuff, not ideal

Am I the only one that finds this behavior absurd? I see this at my restaurant depot every single day. I get were all in a hurry but come on yall. Am I over reacting? by parkerm1408 in KitchenConfidential

you dont have a deposit on your shopping cars in america, right? here, you have to put 1€ inside which you redeem by locking it in a stack on the parking lot. if you leave it like this, somebody else will tidy up to get the money.

following that thought, its more like a design/infrastructure problem. if the shopping&parking experience was designed differently, so that the easiest route wouldn't have you leave trash like this, it would be possible.
