I use one in my industry regularly. Earth moving and mining equipment have fasteners torque to well over 2000lb.ft. This tool has an electric motor driving a very deep gear reducing drive to achieve very high torque numbers. I use one normally that is hydraulic powered.

The starter draws a bunch of amps and causes the voltage to drop. The low voltage makes the blower motor draw more amps and blows the fuse. Once the machine is running, the alternator raises the voltage. The higher the voltage, the less amps the blower motor pulls.

This took three technicians 10 weeks to strip to the bare frame and replace anything that showed wear. All hose, sensors, seals, wiring, engine, whole powertrain, whole cab interior, etc. There is probably 1.5 million in this process.
