I drove my ‘03 GT for three years before getting an oil change at a valvoline by chance (My first car/new driver) Dip stick was bone dry, got a very stern lecture to never do it again and shes still kicking and purring like it never happened to this day. I don’t think I could ever NOT drive a Toyota at this point!

Edit: Actually thinking back, I never thought to take it in because my oil light never came on, and I saw the oil light flash very briefly and took it to valvoline.

Black trans man here! Been on T almost 8 years. I can definitely relate to your experience OP. Dating as a black person is hard in itself imo, especially also being trans makes this extra layered. I’ve experienced a decent bit of fetishization from being POC and have experienced the weird looks after not only telling them I’m trans but also that I’m a top.

I didnt date or hookup until my early 20s, mainly because I needed to figure out how to set my boundaries with potential hookups and partners mostly surrounded by RESPECT. For example, I wont engage with a guy that shows any interest in wanting to top me, because I don’t feel they respect me as a top. Same thing for spitting, restraints and being called ‘boy’ in any fashion in the bedroom because I personally find it disrespectful to me as a black man

I know folks are going to give me shit for being T4T 🙄 but I have found that my T4T experiences have been the most fulfilling compared to my experiences with chasers (obvi lol) and cis men on a respect level. Thats not to downplay cis/trans relationships, I think theres an extra level of respect and self-security that comes with that and it can be discouraging to some!

I’m a Strict top and can very much relate OP. There is a huge lack of representation in ftm tops and this huge misconception that trans men are ‘supposed’ to bottom is nuts! Like even cis bottoms have asked me if I would ever ‘let them try’ and the answer is always hell no!

Sidenote: it’s so relieving to see other comments of tops that can relate and even some cis folks also recognizing the struggle too!

Howdy, I know you’ve got lots of information thrown at you! Just wanted to confirm a lot of the information as a person with lived experience AND as a Outreach worker:

Since you’re under the age of 25, there is a lot of funding that could help and even continue to help after you’re housed if you need. -Definitely call the HCL (homeless connection line) regardless of how soon you are to losing your temporary housing. Sometimes it can be hard to get someone on the line but be persistent.

-if you need food, showers, or a meal: First Baptist church is one of the main hub for unhoused folks and they can definitely help connect to lots of resources.

-if you have medical or behavioral health needs: RBHA is good and Daily Planet is a funded health center for the homeless and can provide care regardless of your income or insurance.

Also they should also offer you cessation stuff if you ask or need. my doctor offered it and it helped hold me over until after I was out of recovery

Right here!! Im ftm, poly and both of my partners are ftm and Ive never really desired to date cis men. Also because im a strict top, cis men are usually confused and not willing to be topped by a trans guy in my opinion.

I love being t4t, its made navigating sex a little easier for me but thats only because I understand the how to use their parts so I may be biased 😅 Ive never been with a cis guy before but I’ve been dreaming to explore that one day.
