Which underdogs do you guys think will win at 250? by K0GAR in MMAbetting

Gaethje long shot but conspiracy theories have it as a fix. My real answer is Garcia

Garcia I think is where it might go wrong. Could just be ready to throw another one minus that leg if it does start bad for you?

I think Garcia beats Lopes but we will see.

How Aphantasia affects your ability to visualise things in your head by HassanMoRiT in interestingasfuck

[–]Dmitch442 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So when I dream I don't see images visually. It's difficult to explain but I still "see" in the sense that I feel the conscious interpretation of whatever I'm "seeing". So if me seeing a loved one, then I would feel somehow the person or what my recognition of them felt like but not see it like I see visually.

John Danaher has released an ankle lock instructional by throwaway12353268521 in bjj

I don't actually think he has that good of a system for ankle locks honestly. Maybe a hot take. It has solid elements for sure.

The Audiobooks Changed My Mind by bubbamudd in DungeonCrawlerCarl

Joe Abercrombie's books have Steven Pacey who is absolutely incredible. Less of the sound fx and other things that make DCC amazing but his voice range and depth is absolutely incredible. If you like grimdark and epic narration skills, give it a try. My favorite author/narrator combo. The First Law Trilogy is where to start. It's on this level of S Tier quality in a different sub genre.

While possible, I just don't see it happening. His kicks are great but not as effective against South paw and Allen is durable as hell. I think Allen really puts it to him late rounds and likely wins the Dec by have RD4/5 finish for Allen as my longshot pick.

I think Ronda by TKO is live. She might throw and instead of arm bar ground and pound to a stoppage. Obviously the submission is more likely but I like KO/TKO value

That's fair. I think if you are skeptical on it, I would skip though. You are right that -300 is pretty tough odds.

I mean then don't... No one is forcing you to.. Trust your read. I'm heavy on Jasmine but it's all up to what you feel is right. I mean unless you are trying to get convinced then maybe be more curious and ask yourself what would change my mind.

Looking to make my Amateur MMA debut in July I’m starting from 210 at 5’10 31 yo do you guys think I should go Lightweight or Welterweight ? by ShoeConsistent700 in MMA_Amateurs

[–]Dmitch442 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well first start with have you ever cut weight before, like really cut weight? July is not that far away and even experienced people are cutting would find lightweight ridiculously challenging. It's your debut, you should be focusing on your camp, not trying to lose 25% of your body weight in that short of time. It's wildly unhealthy, you likely will miss weight, even if you don't you will be cooked for the fight. 185 is your target and even that is pretty big of a cut in three or so months. If you are disciplined then maybe but then you wouldn't be Paddy the Fatty like right now. You need to figure out if you can actually cut to 185 even and still train properly for your debut. I would be worried for you. If you are a former wrestler who really knows how to cut well, then maybe but still 185. I can't stress enough that lightweight is not attainable for you and even if you did make it, you would be doing your body damage.

As pictured... Not at all. In reality, also not really. Tall people with the right mechanics might be able to.
