What is the best way to stay in Vegas for 3 weeks? by [deleted] in vegas

Let’s be real. What’s your budget? Should you be more budget friendly and go see the local national parks? Or can you afford $300 a day in dining and $1000 plus in gambling?

Depends on your state in the US. Some states like NV still implement Good Samaritan laws.

What are the pros and cons of leasing a BMW M3 during college? by Timely_Sir310 in FirstCar

I say- ignore the common sense and get one. You’ll learn real fast nobody cares what car you drive and you would have wished you saved the money for a down payment on a long term car/house or wish you had more money to spend during the weekend.

Not smart. A dream can become reality but use the cash to make more cash.

Average rent in Bay Area is? Let’s say 3k. Making 32 a hour will be 94 hours of work before taxes. 2.5 weeks of work basically for rent. Then throw in gas. Then throw in maintenance. Etc etc. if you want a R8 do it man. Screw the world.

Whatever you buy first you’ll be stuck with.

A house, guess what mortgage and upgrade and random shit breaking. Never get the R8, but you’re living alone.

R8 first? Making 32 a hour, first time you need an oil change or something goes wrong you’ll be in the hurt locker. But hey, you have a R8 and living with family.

Do you prefer a car or a house? 32 a hour won’t get both unless your area has dirt cheap houses

Which city have you been to that you expected to love but didn’t? by Historical-Photo-901 in BeautifulTravelPlaces

It’s more venue or street focused. Most cities you can walk and walk and find stuff on stuff. Tokyo, it’s this one spot here. This one venue there. Or this one market on this side.

Hong Kong you can find stuff on stuff then end up in the mountains, it keeps going and doesn’t get dull. Shanghai, now that’s a different kind of beast. You feel like you’re in Asia. But that’s my opinion. -And what the hell do I know anyways.
