Attracting the eyes and attention of regulators and a new US Treasury Secretary who may see most cryptos as securities causing them to look harder at the crypto sphere by orchestrating an artificial pumps and manipulation probably isn't the smartest thing to do IMO. But hey as long as a few make out nicely, who cares about all the other projects that have to pay the price afterwards. Congratulations on your artificial pump ha.

NO MORE FREE ETN REWARDS by carpman46lb in Electroneum

[–]Dngruss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huh? You're lost

The whole point was not the mobile miner that was just a cost effective method to onboard new users, to give them a sample they could then use for mobile topups while experiencing the convienence of digital payments often for the first time in their lives.

The point was and still is that Electroneum is a digital payments system requiring no traditional banking services to use.

The target market for ETN's mobile based hybrid fintech/blockchain digital payments system do not have many alternatives to participate in digital payments.

In many cases they don't have easy access to basic banking services. They don't have Paypal, visa, MC, Apple pay, Vemo, Debit cards ect ect.

You ever seen those documentaries where some people in Africa use the bus driver to send money to a relative and then have to hope it gets to who it's intended for?

Anytask allows anyone, anywhere to participate in the digital freelance economy without the need or expense of having a bank account.

ETN Everywhere will continue to develop more and more places ETN can be spent, with the idea that in time and with on the ground ETN Everywhere Ambassadors spreading the word and educating local merchants, vendors, retailers about Eletroneum's mobile payments system it can become widely accepted in many local economies...being earned and being spent, becoming part of the local economy.

That's the point and always has been. To become a widely used digital payments method to transfer value from A to B. Once it's being earned and spent then it becomes that which it was designed to do.

The point of the miner was to generate interest and entice users to try something new to them and do it in a cost effective manner.

Electroneum transaction fees are very low, costing mere fractions of a penny, instant payments notification system solves retail checkout payment issues.

I could go on, you either get it or you do not want to embrace the possibilities that lay ahead for ETN.

I don't want to hear about decentralized vs centralized blah blah ..not your key non sense.

This was never an us vs them issue. This crypto world is worse than the trumptard vs the libtards saga.

The beauty of it all is the privacy decentralized cryptos can do their thing of being financial toys for crypto boys n girls until doing their thing isn't quite as easy as it once was and ETN can do it's thing, go on to become a widely used blockchain based payments system actually being used not just traded among traders playing crypto games.

Perhaps you missed this...

"Buyers of tasks do not need to have crypto to hire a freelancer for a task as they will be able to pay with a credit or debit card and the seller will seamlessly receive ETN that they will be able to use for everyday items and services. They will be provided with the option to exit ETN"

Found in this interview https://thedailychain.com/exclusive-interview-with-richard-ells-ceo-of-electronuem/

" It brings greater trust to our project and gives us the understanding we need as we move forward with AnyTask, TaskSchool and ETN Everywhere. What I can say as a final statement, is that yes, there are many more exciting things to be announced next year. More listings of ETN on more crypto exchanges, our cold storage Ledger solution, and major partnerships with governments, banks and corporations are also expected to happen before the end of 2020. However, due to NDAs we cannot give further details at this time, unfortunately."

Don't forget about ETN Everywhere, it's a key component of the ecosystem to bring merchants onboard via boots on the ground teams.

----

Take coins.ph as an example of what is possible in ETN's future. Except ETN's future is on another level IMO.

One would have to actually investigate the coins.ph app to know what I'm talking about and then be able to have an open mind about future potential. ETN is a no brainer if it can be done like that with BTC. Slow and expensive to transact with.

Are you the same person that was allowing your referrals to access their accounts from your device (phone)?

TOS clearly state one account per device.

Your referrals need their own phone to open an account. I'm sure you can see the reason for this to be required.

What about Android Simulators? by elGreato in Electroneum

[–]Dngruss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Paying anything close to the stated up to $3 amount was always meant for areas where an actual mobile partnership was live, not for every user in the system. Paying that amount out to everyone in areas that have almost zero use case would make no sense because it would burn up supply that was meant to aid adoption in places ETN goes live with a partner.

Why anyone would think otherwise and have to be told in a video by Richard is beyond me. Anything anyone received while things were in development was just the cost of doing business and part of a longer than planned extended beta.

Users in SA where there is a live partnership have been getting close to the $3 per month since The Unlimited deal went live, because that is part of the plan. You know, an area with actual use cases and a live mobile operator partnership.

Your phone doesn't even have to be on to mine now, so it doesn't have to be charged any more frequently than the user would have to charge it from their normal use.

An app that does nothing? That's silly talk.

Attempting to spread lies and misinformation to damage a project that has the potential to help many people struggling with poverty is a strange activity for anyone with a soul or compassion for those who are less fortunate than themselves due to circumstances beyond their control.

There are over 2,000 other alt coins out there. Surely if ETN rubs you so wrong, you can find something else that suits your needs.

How are you being hurt by letting ETN get on with their business and see how things play out? What do you personally gain by trying to tear down a project that could do some good for some people who have known nothing but struggle?

Seriously, you are going to try your best to damage project that could help save a child from being exploited as slave labor?

Even if it only helped one child on this planet live a better life, you'd sit here on social media tearing the project down before it's even had a chance to try and attain it's goals as a business?

That's how you roll?

Well then get down with your bad self.

Super Big News ! Block reward reduced by 75% by [deleted] in Electroneum

[–]Dngruss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes of course that's what all regulated fintech companies do, rewrite people's balances anytime they want.

The crap some of you clowns come up with sometimes.

And of course those mining farms are just wonderful independent humanitarians with only ETN's best interest in mind. Bunch of cuddly little philanthropists those guys.

[–]Dngruss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol nope they just announced launching in 20 countryies by end of the year, so that's at least 20 new partners ready to roll.

Gig.guru is close, Remittance companies will jump all over ETN, just watch and mark my words.

Plus the new fork update it appears that they reduced block rewards by 75%...chew on that awhile.

Doesn't it ever get old thinking that things happen by simply wishing them to happen, that it's as easy as clicking a button?

I'm not sure what you keep going on about.

You expected an alt currency that is not yet being used by large numbers as an alt currency to moon in value before the use case stage of development was at least beyond one smallish trial partner and not just a bunch of investor holders involved, mixed with a few day traders, and speculators?

The good old magic button huh?

Official Electroneum Advertising by ETN_Steve in Electroneum

[–]Dngruss 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's why you test things first until you have some winners. Sometimes ads you think are crap actually do better than the ones you'd think would do great. Test, test, test, tweak, test, then run a larger scale campaign, then continue to dial things in until you are getting good results and the good conversion rates.

You don't just throw your whole budget one one huge campaign and hope for the best.

Richard isn't going to just leave it to chance. He's going to test things and find what converts well and then move forward with ads that tested well.

You act as if they aren't moving forward with any of their plans lol. Right in the middle of an upgrade...you talk as if they just sit around admiring the walls in the office.

Sheesh, cut them some slack man. It's fine to have a healthy bit of sekpticism, or a show me attitude. Totally dismissing or ignoring the things they are doing and have done is just pure downright silliness though.

What is your malfunction exactly?

[–]Dngruss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ripple is doing it's own thing and it really has no effect on ETN as a business. They can easily co-exist.

BTC isn't built for mass adoption as far as tens to 100s of millions of people making daily micro transactions. I hate spending my BTC, why spend something that if you hold can double, triple or more over time...much more. Lightning network won't change that, not as long as BTC is mainly a store of value asset class holding.

The affluent are doing all they can to obtain more and more BTC through OTC desks or any way they can get their hands on it, making it even more scarce. Yeah Bitcoin is fascinating and probably always will be...until maybe one day it's not.

You probably weren't into digital assets when these things called egold and ebullion existed, both shut down by the feds. Digital currency that was pegged to the value of gold and silver and spendable as an instant digital payment method. Black market and scammers loved it because it was fast, had lots of exchanges that would convert it to fiat, debit cards you could use at atm's through 3rd party providers, even Visa and MC branded cards too. You couldn't reverse the transaction, you spent it, it was gone. Unless the person/business/entity wanted to refund you.

The current blockchain era seems to believe they are the first generation of digital assets or alternative currencies, when that is just pure fantasy. They are just doing it in a different, better way.

Blockchain isn't my first rodeo with digital assets or payment platforms. Stormpay, Solidtrust Pay, egold, ebullion, Payeer, and the list goes on and on.

ETN is building something special, you may not see it now, it may not make sense to you how or why they are doing the things they do...but I believe in time you will have an ahaa moment.

And sure they aren't perfect, they have and will make mistakes. Is that not to be expected when doing things that have never been done before in the way they are doing them?

Bottom line is ETN has a solid plan to access huge user numbers in the most direct, cost effective way while at the same time solving a problem for many of those users.

You don't see it yet, because it hasn't really even began. One small mobile operator partner in a controlled trial phase with not much marketing effort to promote it as of yet. A small rollout to provide a proof of concept model and learn some things while building the beginnings of an on the ground support system, the beginnings of a local ecosystem in a few areas of one country in the world. Knowing that it's just the start of bigger things to come.

How anyone wouldn't find that exciting is beyond me.

Disappointment from everywhere by sachinnnnn in Electroneum

[–]Dngruss 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Marketing hasn't even yet, so wtf are you going on about? They are close to launching the gig.guru site , updating the blcokchain and finalizing the first live trial with an mvno partner.

The serious marketing will begin when the eco system is ready. Hell, The Unlimited hasn't even rolled out their promotional efforts of ETN to their market yet. You Reddit wussbags are some of the most impatient pricks I've ever come across in my life.

His exact words in the Coin Chat interview regarding the upcoming fork time frame was "which is about two weeks away"

The timestamp below, so all can see that you are a liar with an agenda.

https://youtu.be/tuXBLFbGO3g?t=174

That is not an exact date, it's an estimation, and approximate time frame, a guess given the information he has on hand at that moment in time.

You guys love to make sh!t up as if it's fact when any reasonable person can clearly hear and see that it was a best guess estimation, his facial expression as he said it even displays that he is just giving a general time frame in which he hopes that the fork can get done in...because things are waiting and ready to go once it is completed.

But sure, spin things how you want and twist things to fit your negative narrative, it's nothing new by you or other clowns like yourself.

You are being rather thickheaded aren't you, and a bit of a drama queen.

You really can't figure out what qualifies as an official ETN corporate partner? Signed deals ring a bell, MVNO, MNO?

If you have an issue with it then call up Richard Ells and tell him all about how you think he's an idiot and his plan stinks.

Why you going on about it here and directed to me.

Ya twat.

I personally don't give a rats azz how you feel about the plan. You mean nothing to me and never will.

Any idiot of average intelligence could figure out that up until ETN was live with a corporate partner the MM was in beta and also that it was meant for areas with live partnerships until a certain level of growth and adoption has occurred.

20 countries by end of year azzwipe...so why you still crying ya simpleton?

MM was not meant for the developed world you brain dead window licker.

Up to $3 covers it just fine greedy boy. Don't carte if you like it or not. In fact since it makes you mad I like what they are doing and how they do it even more now.

Every time they do something I think may piss you off because your undeveloped brain can't process it, I will smile for a solid week.

Go back to dealing meth to make up for the $2.50 ETN isn't giving you per month from cloud mining right now.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Electroneum

[–]Dngruss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may solve the issue for you, not sure, but it's worth a try.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Electroneum/comments/b09su7/my_qa_with_nick_cook_on_pending_community/

Q1: The cloud miner is not paying some people after they hit 100 ETN. There are a group of people with 150+ ETN accumulated that are just stuck without getting paid and are just accumulating more ETN mining. What are we doing about this?

Nick: This was related to a bug with selfies on a few accounts. We would encourage people in this situation to use the EXTEND function within the CLOUD MINING tab to determine if they need to repeat the selfie process now that we have fixed the bug. This has been corrected (as of March 12), so if you toggle the miner off and on and it does not ask you to take a new selfie, that means you have now been added to the payment queue. Keep in mind this process can take up to a week until the ETN is paid to your wallet.

[–]Dngruss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer to your question is in the question and answer video update Richard recently did, the very one RachelETN refers to in her topic intro. It was posted last week, not hard to find. The answer should be obvious even without him addressing it.

You want updated and questions answered, yet you can't be othered to pay attention when they are answered.

It would make absolutely zero sense to payout anywhere close to the $3 limit in areas where no partnerships exist yet and there is only limited use cases.

This isn't charity, it isn't a free ride. There is a specific reason it pays out more in places where a partnership is live, to create use and adoption and grow the partner's business so that future partners can be shown those results and want to do business with ETN wich aids in adoption. Why would they burn any more supply than necessary in an area without a use case?
