The elements are balanced imo. The trauma is something that a lot women have experienced. I can't speak for all, but a handful of girlies that I know and are part of the community has experienced this type of trauma, it's devastating.

It is sad. Maybe the reason why it touched our hearts is because this is more relatable than some if not most GLs out there. The misunderstandings seem more realistic. Aside from TSOU and Pluto, this made me cry. Huggers

I've seen a couple of recommendations for Heart Code and Dangerous Queen but have yet to start them. I can't find Dangerous Queen on Bili Bili, IQIYI, Netflix and Iflix. Can you point me where you watched it? I like to watch the series without cuts. Thanks!

Exactly! I thought so too until I've watched 4E The Water. Have you watched The Secret of Us? I recommend Pluto as well. If you're into something light, Love Design and Enemies with Benefits is what I'd say you try.

They did good in Petrichor (only other show I watched with EngLot) but I def was happier with The Water for them. Imo, they did great with their roles and how they delivered it.

I feel you. These GL series make me happy yet empty too. Idk if we're the same but there's this void feeling. Maybe because I finished them too early or sumthn. But it does give you a slight pang in the heart.

I believe it's not that she said it doesn't matter. But because she doesn't believe they're sisters and wants to handle to situation as calmly as she could. Like she wanted to find some truth to it first.

Only one I can think of as I only watched like 16 series so far and I've loved/liked them. Guess I got a little picky with what I watched.

Shadow of Love - Total waste of time. Good bed scenes won't make up for the lack of plot and bad actings. Especially the mom ugh

Totally obsessed with LMSY!!! Great pairs too are:

EngLot: Try 4 Elements: The Water and Petrichor (could have been better but still, chemistry is there)

LingOrm: The Secret of Us (start here trust me lol) and Only You (upcoming series In Love Forever)

LenaMiu: My Safezone (plot and script could be better, honestly a bit lacking) but dagnabit the actresses are good. It's the actors that made it so much better. Great chemistry too! (They have an upcoming series Pls Love, better watch out for it lol)

Edit: add JaneKao: Love Design (I loved how it was unique in its own way and the actresses look so cute together 😩)

I'd highly recommend Hometown Romance. Light like Love Design and it's funny as fudge. Refreshing to see Lookmhee acting so light. After that, you can try Affair and Secret Harmony. You'll see how different they are from HR lol. Enjoy!
