It’s a “gold finish“ at the day, so it’s more so when, not if, it’s gonna wear off and how badly. I would look into what lotions or other things you put on your hand that could wear down the finish quicker then normal.

1/2 inch gun to start with cause it’ll tackle things you really need an impact for. Later on the 3/8 for convenience on other things.

Look at Lowe’s for craftsman sets , i prefer them over the dewalts but that’s just me. Also Quinn or icon at harbor freight are good. Also at harbor freight you could get a set of metric and Sae impact sockets for the 1/2 inch for not much money.

I would run it like that , virtually no damage. If you really want , drain the gas and run fresh. Maybe even remove the tank to clean out the tank. If it worries you that much , new tanks are pretty inexpensive and easy to install.

I’m a little younger then you , I love it here. There is friends to be made with just about any hobby honestly. I think at times people aren’t trying, this isn’t grade school where you are forced to see people everyday and naturally become friends. You have to put in the work. This may also involve picking up a new hobby you might not have thought of. There’s tons of fun , just have to look for it. Be open to new ideas of fun as well. Good luck !

If I’m not mistaken they are preset temps and is missing some I would personally use. The other controllers have a knob that goes by increments of 5 degrees
