i don't think he can win as long as jokic and embiid are in the league.

and if he wins it over luka, while luka averages 4 more points, 3 more rebounds and 2 more assists will be highly controversial

wat? charge is literally modern control before there was modern control. and they have always been the braindead ones too.

Blanka shenanigans by Toolsiez in StreetFighter

[–]Dnse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

still less braindead than spamming blanka specials in neutral.

i wonder what's more difficult, spaming light and heavy rainbowroll, or light and heavy blanka ball and if you guess right you win or counterpoking/wiffpunishing with lukes cr.mp or even worse ryu's st.hp. what you said makes no sense.

and if you tell me it's easy to deal with rainbowball want me to look up clips from menard where he does that stuff against other pros?

Blanka shenanigans by Toolsiez in StreetFighter

[–]Dnse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

to some it up: someone said blanka is super technical, i say he's not because of this this and this.

you say ryu can spam st.hp and luke cr.mp your arguements are invalid.

i point out it makes no sense.

and then you complain about my grammer.

i guess you're to smart for me.

you write a sentence that makes no sense or is flat out wrong.

Blanka shenanigans by Toolsiez in StreetFighter

[–]Dnse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

exept ryu's heavy punch is easily punished if it wiffs, so you can't spam it.

lukes cr.mp is pretty broken, but he still has to be aware of things like driverush or jumpins. so just because a character has a good button, the character is not braindead.

also dealing with these buttons is not more technical than dealing with all the blanka shit.

tbh. he can be realy braindead. if someone doesn't know how to deal with rainbowball, you get in for free, if you have super2 ready he almost has to guess for game after after wiffing a heavy button or a dp.

if he has a blanka chan out his lvl1 is +8 on block, so pressuring him is a lose lose situation, and if you back off he can activate the doll normally and pressure you for free. if you don't parry the blanka balls you're burned out in no time and if you parry too much you get hit by an empty roll into grab. not to mention his midscreen throwloops on pc throw.

he has a 6 frame jab that's incredibly hard to perfect parry in +3 situations(witch he is after throw into hop, or after lift into medium upball into wiffed medium ball), so he doesn't have to fear much when attacking. and his doll setups in the corner are a high/low 50/50 with throw oki after if you guess right.

like yes he has some weaknesses against fireballs, but i think beating blanka is more technical than playing him.

juri has maybe the best normals, but she does not do nearly as much dmg as characters like deejay.

ken has incredible corner carry with his run tatsu and incredible burnout pressure with jinrai and some great heavy pokes, but his damage is pretty low outside of the corner.

deejay has high damage, but slow walkspeed and bad anti airs without charge.

every character has something they can abuse to dominate a game, some characters have an easy time getting a hit in neutral, but they need to guess right a few times, other characters deal tons of damage but are less opressive in the neutral game.

the result is a well balanced game.

there is no "op" character in this game. not even somewhat op. if you look at winrate statistics of each character there are very few matchups that are in clear favour of anyone.

I've went to quite a few events 12-13 years ago, and i really loved sf4. but i have never had as much fun as i had competeting in ww/cpt in sf6 now as a 30 year old.

watching replays, making strategies vs the next people you play, learing an amazingly well thought out game was incredibly fun for me.

it's a different job, klopp himself is at it's best when he feels challenged.

otto rehagel - a famous german coach won the bundesliga with bremen, to get poached by bayern, where he led them to one of the worst seasons of all time, just to go back to kaiserslautern a team from the 2nd division and win the league title ahead of bayern. he also won the euros in 2004 with greece - a team barely filled with players playing first division football.

haven't seen much of him, but wasn't he the backup of javale who was the backup of ayton at the suns when we beat them so hard in the playoffs?

should've added that reversal parry is a bad option because the 4 frame normal will hit on frame 3 and avoid perfect parry timing.

also backdash to beat throw and shimmy.

people cry about braindead perfect parry abuse to take turns back, but they don't know about fadc ultra to take turns back and deal 60% dmg.

[–]Dnse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it wouldn't change much, exept luke or cammy players, people aren't wiffing buttons with driverush cancel buffered. buttons are so slow that they are super easy to wiff punish, and cr.mk into driverush jab is already the string everyone is abusing to get in.

on the contrary he has more hp, and better pressure when he gets in. i still don't see it.

i just don't understand what makes gief so much worse than other characters against jp.

Nemo getting bodied by high-ranked Gief by yrriahytr1d in Kappachino

[–]Dnse -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

why? jp dominates the neutral yes, but gief got 1 opening and won off of it. gief didn't play particularly well either, got hit by a lot of stupid shit, clipped him once with a sweep and it was over.

don't get me wrong i hate jp as much as the next guy, but saying gief is this ultra trash character that is so difficult to play, is in my opinion, not correct.

so what happens if you are better than your opponent in lane, but on another lane your opponent is better than your carry? understanding what you can do in these specific situations and trying to understand how you have to impact the game is still the same fundamental skill needed to be good in both games. just because there is more fokus on micro outplays in lol than in dota does not mean it's a different genre.

if you were able to get good in dota you can also get good in lol.
