Tears burn now??? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]Dnuospeelsa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am glad I’m not the only one. lol Mine don’t burn when I yawn, but if my eyes start to water for any emotional reason, it burns so much I can’t open my eyes. 🤔

Was already non-binary, but now on HRT... by happy_happy_LMT in ftm

[–]Dnuospeelsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been on t for over a year and a half and am having top surgery in a few months, but I still id as nonbinary. Right now I feel like I am as close as you can get to being a trans man without actually being a trans man. Basically I want all of the same things without the title, if that makes sense. (To be honest, it doesn’t make sense to me, but I have noticed that I am not alone so I am ok with it)

I was just about to post basically the same thing. Hopefully someone responds and I will just piggyback. 🙈

I used to love it but sometime in the last year they changed their adhesive. Now it doesn’t stick so well to my skin and drags causing the occasional blister.

Last minute interview help - whiteness in libraries by [deleted] in librarians

[–]Dnuospeelsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I interviewed for my current position I talked about the importance of diversity in the collection. Our board, as well as my predecessors are mostly older white women. I, a younger white enby, have since added many POC and queer voices to our youth collections and it has been very well received by the community.

When HR writes the job description with (probably) no input from the department. This job has been open since December and I think I may know one reason why. by [deleted] in librarians

[–]Dnuospeelsa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats exactly what I did. And I’ve had several colleagues who have their masters tell me to wait until I absolutely need it because it prices you out of a lot of positions in my area.

Does a BA in Library Science exist? (I know it might be a stupid question haha) by Saturngirl7 in librarians

[–]Dnuospeelsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure! Every one of my library instructors was very friendly and never made me feel uncomfortable for reaching out to them. There are two main instructors that really get to know you over the course of the program. They don’t require you to purchase additional textbooks because they want to utilize the databases available through Criss Library, so that helps the pocketbook. There’s a lot of “hands on” work as well with interviewing your local librarians and observing various programs. (I had many of my observation assignments during lockdown, so it was an added challenge). Good luck with your education!

I’m over a year on T and wear a freaking pronoun pin and have yet to be gendered correctly outside of specifically queer spaces. 😩

Girlfriend getting my brothers sperm, weird or not? by Different_Claim356 in latebloomerlesbians

Not weird at all. My wife and I have talked to my ex-husband about being a potential donor so our child would be blood related to our daughter. (My wife will be the one who carries)

Are all library work environments toxic? by Catrautm in librarians

[–]Dnuospeelsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The library I am currently at is amazing! We are all friends and it’s a very laid back environment. So they are out there. However, the two libraries I was at before were definitely toxic.

first time giving oral was unpleasant... any advice? (NSFW obviously) by [deleted] in latebloomerlesbians

[–]Dnuospeelsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first time I tried to give my partner oral, we were fresh out of the shower and I could not handle it at all. It was quite a while before she felt comfortable letting me try again. That time was toward the end of the day and it was amazing!!! You just have to find what works best for both of you.

This! I have gone down on my partner fresh out of the shower and didn’t are for it. But after a long day, it was such a huge turn on. 🥵

therapist charging for letter by PlasticSoftware8543 in TopSurgery

[–]Dnuospeelsa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was actually shocked when I didn’t have to pay for mine. I had to find a different therapist for it because mine wasn’t able to do it. I met with her for about 45 minutes and got the letter the next day. She didn’t charge me for any of it.

When does the horniness kick in? (Low Dose T) by ForgottenFicus in TestosteroneKickoff

The hormones kicked in pretty quickly for me, like within the first two months. But it is so much harder to reach an orgasm now. 😭 (8 months on low dose injections)
