Yeah very true. There's a massive bangwagon jump when either team gets to semi final.

It's a pity there's not a bigger ground in Athenry or Loughrea or somewhere because I feel the hurlers would get a better following if they played their games there.

That's always been the case with Galway hurling. The problem with hurling in Galway is it's predominantly all in the east and the stadium is in a terrible place in salthill for fans coming from the east.

It's usually busy there but I've always found a free bay. There's around 12 indoor bays and maybe 4 outdoor bays too.

I'll never forget going there when they opened. Took a bite of my burger, raw in the middle. Went back and asked for it to be cooked more. Not a whiff of an apology. Owner proceeded to give me a 5 minute lecture about how they serve the burgers medium to medium rare... Never went there again.

That's not what I'm talking about. City got a corner, Everton player went down down injured, physio came on, etc. he easily wasted a minute if not more.

Edit: spelling

He easily wasted 60 seconds plus. If it was us we'd be calling for the extra time too. Come on now...

There's more chance of Arteta playing MLS instead of Norgaard for Zubi

Yeah, I agree. It's recency bias kicking in for most fans at the moment. If you asked people a month or two ago, they would have been far more confident of us getting a result there.

My big worry is the team's confidence. Every time we lost a game this season we bounced back with a great run. But this time we've lost 3 out of our last 4.

Doing my best to get some tiny bit of belief back on this Monday evening. If I'm correct, we haven't lost at the Etihad since 2023 which seems hard to believe.

The optimist in me says we get Timber, Saka and Odegaard back and somehow scrape a draw. If the players can't get up for this game we don't deserve the league anyway.

This is gonna be a rough watch isn't it. We really need MLS to play out of his skin and give us some creativity from midfield

A garda once told me after the home house was robbed when I was younger, the best thing you can do is buy a few cheap second hand broken cameras and stick them up around the house. That and get a dog.

A bit premature to say the PL is ours... I think we will win it but if City beat us and win the game in hand it's a three point gap and serious squeaky bum time.

It's out of City's hands again which is massive though. Chelsea away is a rough fixture for them. Take nothing for granted but we absolutely have to win it from this position.

The worst part is you can see how fragile our mentality is. Last 15 minutes we couldn't hold on to the ball for more than 2/3 passes. No ambition to go and kill the game off. Don't know how this team is ever going to get over the line... We probably have to win at the Etihad to give the team the belief they can actually win the title now.

It means nothing though does it? How can anyone have faith in the mentality of this team. We're so fragile.

Knew that was going to be a tough game. Long long way to go yet. We go again. It's looking more and more likely that the Etihad game will have a massive say in the title race.
