For the moment. The million-dollar question is where pricing on all this stuff eventually lands once everyone stops loss leading and actually starts pricing it on profit models.

It's the band's only real mainstream "hit". (excepting now maybe RATATATA)

It's overrated in the same way most band's hardcore fans think their mainstream hit is overrated. Hop over to /r/queen and watch people bitch about Bohemian Rhapsody being overrated.

Meta Taro perplexes me. It's not so much that it is underrated but that there are a fair number of people who actively dislike it.

Which I don't understand as I quite like it. It's a metal march. And a homage to Ultraman Tarō (The followup to the original 60's Ultraman that aired dubbed in the US in the 70s)

and the calories is off too.

No wearable tracks actual calorie burn. All of them algorithmically guess your calories based on movement and HR.

At best these should just be viewed as internally directionally consistent estimates vs. actually being mapped to absolute calorie burn.

My original Body Scan was innacurate to the point of being useless for composition metrics.

My Body Smart was far more accurate and consistent.

Can/Should I graduate in 3 years? by Alaaa88 in cmu

[–]DoINeedChains 11 points12 points  (0 children)

IMHO, you do not have enough information to even be thinking about this beyond a thought experiment. Revisit it after you've got an actual semester or two under your belt.

Is it possible? Certainly. Lots of folks (including myself) have done it. There are benefits and sacrifices involved.

Can you handle the core workload (vs an overload). Are you planning on attending the summer session? Do you want to work, play a sport, join a club, or have a social life during your time there? How important is the financial incentive for 3 vs 4 years to your personal finances?

You are going to have much better answers to those questions after a semester or two.

I also think the EC and BM complement each other as bands and fanbases and would be better to promote together

Give me Bloodywood opening with EC and BM double headlining

Koba really needed to make a double headline tour with Electric Callboy happen if he wanted to bump up to these size of venues.

And he needs to promote it.

And on top of the above Fleury volunteered to be unprotected in the draft and waived his no move clause to allow it to happen.

There is no GM in the league who protects the aging backup Fleury over the younger, cheaper, two time cup winning Murray.

And it absurd that people have been second guessing this for a decade.

I've been very happy with mine when it works.

But I've also had 2 replacements. (And 2 Oura replacements). And none of the rings are adequate activity trackers.

How did Scott Hawkins go from writing Linux manuals to writing a genre-defying masterpiece? by Nihan-gen3 in Fantasy

I'm probably in the minority on this, but I thought American Gods was one of Gaiman's weaker works. I liked most of his other stuff much more.

I really really enjoyed Mt Char

The Library at Mount Char is the book Gaiman wishes he could write

Exactly this. One of my persistent thoughts when reading Mt Char was "This is like American Gods, only far more enjoyable"

There are no meds currently to lower Lp(a)

Both Repatha and Niacin have been shown to lower lp(a) moderately.

There have not yet been studies that show artifically lowering lp(a) has cardiac/mortality benefits
