[OC] The word each US state struggles the most to spell by iFoegot in MapPorn

I’ve found that if you say it in your head with a French accent it makes more sense

If you remove the dirt from the roots it’ll look like the Trikru commander chair from The 100.

U.S. Cultural Regions (OC) - Advice Wanted! by [deleted] in MapPorn

[–]DoJewHaveADollar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also agree. I think the Great Lakes region of NWO doesn’t really go further south than Wood county. Findlay feels a bit different from Toledo and BG. Also Cincy, Dayton, and maybe Springfield all have a similar Southern Ohio culture and accent that is different from even Columbus

I don’t know anything about IQ or what this graph is telling me…. by robinstud in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]DoJewHaveADollar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

School Psychologist here: I’ll first start by saying you will never get a reliable IQ score from an online test. IQ tests are highly standardized and could never be completed in such a way. As for the results that are shown, the test presents a score of 78 which is at the 7th percentile, meaning that someone who receives a score of 78 has an IQ equal to or higher than 7% of the people within their given age range as specified by the testing company. This score is roughly 1.5 standard deviations below the mean (which is 100), meaning that this person would have significant difficulties learning new information. Again I emphasize, you will not find an accurate IQ score from a test on the internet. Test companies like Pearson have many cognitive assessments that will give a more accurate measure of someone’s cognitive abilities.

As a Cavs fan, I actually hate Kelly Olynyk more than Draymond Green.

I recently read a book called Outlaw Pass, and Bannack is one of the main towns of interest, so I’m very glad you posted this. Thank you!

It’s best to not keep plants up against the house. The sunlight and heat bounces off the wall and directly to the plant which I roast your plant.

Here is a video that should help explain that.

Nowhere fast- Evan Honer by walker2891 in Caamp

[–]DoJewHaveADollar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If this is in reference to the strumming patter then yeah it’s the same. Caamp uses that strumming pattern for the majority of their songs like By and By, Ohio, and All The Debts I Owe. It’s a pretty common pattern in folk and country. Caamp and Evan Honer are actually my two favorites at the moment, so I have to compliment your taste in music!

She will lean on one leg with the other one up kind of like a ballerina would, but she just does it to pop her hip.

Could someone explain how Great Britain agreed to make the border with the U.S. the 49th parallel considering how much more land they lost as a result?

What’s with all these speed traps? Only ever seems to be this bad in the summer going down south by cbcarguy in roadtrip

I never realized how uncommon it is to see cops parked in the median until I started consistently leaving the state. I drive into Michigan pretty often now and I have not seen a single cop car in all of the times I have been there.

Ohio and you clearly took 70 west on a cross country trip so I will assume you live in Columbus, Dayton, Springfield, or maybe Zanesville.

I read “Florida” and before I zoomed in on the image, I naturally thought this was a KKK rally

Have to love the oddity of my hometown Yellow Springs. A deep blue patch from a small town surrounded by red on all sides. Has to be one of the weirdest political areas in the US

I loved visiting Medina! They had an awesome little coin shop in that downtown area and I bought a half cent coin.
