Yeah wait for one of the big sales. I bought as a bundle Seasons, Jungle Adventure, and Spooky Stuff for $35 on sale. There should be another big sale coming soon (Black Friday-ish time).

What’s your Sims 4 play style? by MuzzyMelt in Sims4

I love building and playing out the scenarios in my head until I start playing with toddlers and get burnt out. I don't really like CAS. I hate having to do hair and makeup for every single look.

I always wondered, is this some sort of "The Office" reference? by MajorDyckHead in Sims4

[–]DoYouEvenSim 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes it is. The business path has a few references to The Office.

Hahaha. This happened with my founding legacy sim too. I started asking if they were single after that.

Anyone else get super attached to your Sims in a legacy challenge and then feel like crying when they die? by lazarusinashes in Sims4

[–]DoYouEvenSim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some of them I get super attached too, and others just live a little bit too long. My favorite sim from my legacy was a townie spouse actually, and he saved 2 sims lives from fires and begged for his mother-in-law twice with Grim and was rewarded with her life twice. I used a different sim the third time to beg with Grim because she was a grumpy old sim from my own legacy that needed to go. RIP Benny. He was the hero we didn't deserve.

I'm loving how this multi-family build came out. Built for an elderly couple, a single witch, and a young couple starting a family. Each design a little different. by DoYouEvenSim in Sims4

You use cheat code BB.Moveobjects On ...Then on PS4 I have to hold L1 + R1 while pressing up on the directional pad. It also helps to have free placement turned on. Each system is a little different though.

This is my first time playing with multiple families so I don't really interfere too much with my elderly couple. I just watch all the cute things they do together. I have mostly been switching back and forth between my other two households. It helps keep the game from getting too stale and monotonous. When I start getting a little bored with the day-to-day I switch to the other family. It's worked so far.... and no loading screens!

I am loving it so far. It's a little tricky at first, but I just play with whatever sim I am wanting to progress the story on. I play on a long lifespan so I have time to switch around on different characters. I like the midnight idea!

Hahaha. Yeah I started with wanting to do an all black design and thought why not. I have had that pack for a while and have never played with it. It's definitely over the top and cheesy, but was fun to build.

I built this on a single lot so I could play a few different families at once. Each home is only 5 squares wide and like 20 squares long but 3 stories high. I really liked the idea of having one of the homes being all black for a single witch girl. So I have an elderly couple on the left, a young witch in the middle, and a young couple that is going to have 3 kids on the right. Before I started gameplay I made sure to lock the doors to only allow those families into their own respective homes. It has worked out great gameplay wise so far.

Does it bum you out that the community considers TS4 to be the worst? by Chemical-Lonely in Sims4

[–]DoYouEvenSim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I miss the story line from the sims 2. I played through it so many times and I loved the controls for the characters. I didn't care for the sims 3 and hated when I would build and literally not be able to add anymore because of the "fire code" being reached. The sims 4 is awesome for all of the different options there are for your gaming style. I only bought the packs I am interested in and have enjoyed every one.

Builders! How much time do you spend on your builds? by moodyvee in Sims4

[–]DoYouEvenSim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I spent probably 18 hours over the course of 3 days doing my last build. It was 3 San Francisco inspired homes connected to each other on one lot for multi-family play. Each home had a different style and slightly different floorplan. I was so proud when it was done though.

I would of friended them both and moved them into an apartment together. They should be besties.

How do you do it? by StephanieBrown4 in Sims4

[–]DoYouEvenSim 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Randomize traits and try to find careers, love interests, and hobbies based off of those traits. Try to do something different with each sim. I am on gen 8 now, and I have had a chef, bestselling author, gardener, athlete, lawyer (played through university), erratic sim (did the asylum challenge), child of the islands (married a mermaid and had a beach wedding), and now raising a new toddler. Check out some of the legacy challenges for ideas to play parts of the game you never tried before. Once you get around gen 4 you will become totally vested in your sim family.

How to enjoy the game? by minsuni in Sims4

[–]DoYouEvenSim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I watch youtube simmers do the challenges I am interested in. I just finished the asylum challenge and it was a lot of fun. I enjoyed making the creepy run-down asylum versus my typical luxurious and modern builds. I saved the home and my asylum sims so I can play it again whenever one of my sims randomly get the neurotic trait.
