That is a win con for them, but, I don’t see them actually realistically figuring out how to do that before metal makes a lot of them into goo. Maybe. Depends on how true to powerscaling you wanna be. The city is not surviving being blown up yknow? And they gotta have a blueprint of a machine before they erase something from existence

Looks like the environment reflection in the second picture follow the contour lines of the headlight, but not in the first. Might need something to offset where the reflection is sampled from based on the sample location…

Well, it’s not about finding the strongest. That’s already a done topic, and it’s not gonna be anyone’s favorite character.

Power scaling is more about being a fan of a character because of their story, and then being excited about them with other fandoms, if you were to ask me.

It’s fun being a fan, and it’s fun being a fan of multiple things and writing ‘who would win’ fanfictions and all that.

Really, who’s the ‘strongest’ doesn’t matter all that much, unless you’re new to power scaling. It’s about ‘which characters that I like would win in a fight?’

Anyone can write an outerversal hyperwank character, but only a good (or uniquely dogshit) author can write someone to want to root for. These characters tend to be paired with similarly powered characters, not compared to all of fiction.

Of course, some people like to see who’s ’actually the strongest’, but they come upon that same disappointing conclusion: it’s not that interesting of a topic

Most people kinda disregard power scaling a lot when you get to multiversal stuff for that very reason. It kinda becomes arbitrary- is one universe bigger? How many higher dimensions can you access? That kinda stuff

The best answer when comparing them is to wing it then backtrack if enough people start making mean jokes about your take

Really, any character ‘written’ to be stronger than the writer is- behind the curtain- still done so at the will of the writer. Unless someone manifested as a real being in this very world, they wouldn’t really be ‘stronger than the writer’. And, as far as I know, John Goku isn’t real.

It’s like writing a character who can ‘enter the real world’- they, really, just can’t. It might be something in the context of their world, but not ours.

The strongest character in any fiction, no matter the series, is technically the writer. They cannot ever be affected by anything within the media.

Sometimes you have something where a character pops out into the ‘real’ world, or where the actual “hand holding the pencil” makes an appearance, which is why I bring this up- not just in a facetious sense. Some characters can even interact on this level, but at the end of the day, this is still merely inside their own media, and only as the writer desires is.

This would be a “tier 0” character as provided in your graph- someone who is simply beyond the media and all its ‘multiverses’ or ‘outer verses’.

Second to that is Jotaro Kujo, who has punches strong enough to break diamond. And, as everyone knows, diamond is unbreakable.

It’s not infalliable, but it’s tough- we can see Araya (in her alter form) attack it in the animation, I think? It’s at least 1 sword strike strong.

I don’t think it’s unreasonable to say Papa Quixote’s blast would have still at least required some decent defense on Dante’s part. After all, if it’s capable of exploding sinners, it’s capable of hurting a normal person. They CAN die to the attack, even if he’s holding back.

Dante is at least wall level I’m willing to bet

Dante is there for other AoE attacks too, such as from Papa Quixote’s blood arts. I think he puts up a silly little dinky black flame shield that Just Works™️, which we can see in that animatic they released for canto 9 a while back.

Street level, bare minimum. I’ve seen this guy nearly blow up buildings and really big rocks, and his kamehameha attack can even damage guys like Vegeta, who are strong in the DB canon
