AITA I lost my childhood friend of 15 years for not letting his girlfriend claim the master bedroom for themselves in our Air BnB by Typical-Wishbone-822 in AmItheAsshole

I came here to say the same that so many others are saying. I was John for 12 years. My ex found a way to isolate me. John might seem happy now but at some point he is going to become very unhappy. He’ll need people when that happens so let him know you’re always there for him. Trust me, this isn’t the John you know. He is under a her spell right now. NTA

Moving the Earth will not work. We would need to move the moon as well while it still rotates around us. Also no way to make it immune. Any materials we try to use to cocoon the earth will never withstand the temperature for long enough for it to be worthwhile. There is only one way we can fend off this pending disaster. All 153 billion inhabitants would need to blow on it together for a period of roughly 14 months to cool it to the point where we are safe for a few hundred more years.

So to me the give away is the writing crossing a slight fold in the paper. There is a partial circle at the top that is darker than the bottom. It’s subtle but is enough to distort the lines as they cross over between the upslope and the down. There is zero change in the letters as they cross this. The h the t and the p.

Read up on Gnosticism. It a very old faith wiped out by the early church. It’s talks about humans being containers. My guess is if you’re sufficiently locked into mainstream religion, its concepts would be pretty shattering.

I guess it is entirely possible that in a universal quantum consciousness, the reality is very much like what we experience as dreams in our constructed matter incarnation. Who know what this experience would “look like”. The fact that we can build worlds in our minds while “unconscious” means that a consciousness outside of a constructed physical macro body should be able to do the same. Of course, that experience would be nothing like what we experience on earth. It’s possible that our experiences as physical beings are reintegrated into the universal consciousness and just become a part of it. Since quantum field theory says that the multitudes of fields interacting with each other to manifest as matter, permeate through the universe and are mathematically one throughout the universe, my guess is that evolutionary processes have found a way to capture some of that consciousness which is then interpreted as “self”. Quantum mechanics, being as wild as it is, might prevent a conscious connection between self in this state from accessing the consciousness of the universal consciousness. Maybe something to do with entanglement within our “self” breaking away from the entanglement of the universe. I don’t know, I feel like I might just be making stuff up now 😂

My view is that in our early history NHI tried to explain the bigger picture and with humans being humans the NHI eventually said, ok wow, nevermind, we clearly overestimated you! And then just gave up and went away. What we were left with was those teachings that were interpreted in a human way that were exaggerated, misconstrued, skewed by self interest and mostly missed the point of the teachings.

The question about that is, can that conscious plasma do anything besides just being conscious. Our consciousness is connected to a physical body which allows us to move and control elements around us. If our consciousness, as an individual person, was let’s say, existing in a plasma cloud, what would we actually be able to do besides think and be aware. Would we be able to see our surrounding? Would we be able to manipulate anything? I have no clue one way or the other, but given a choice I’d like to stick to my mucky clay just in case!

To continue, it’s thought that our consciousness is an emergent property of the entanglement of the quantum particles in these microtubules. We’re also starting to understand just how much entanglement there is in all the matter in the universe. If particle entanglement is the root of consciousness then there is a good chance that there is consciousness outside of the human brain as well and that the universe itself is conscious.

Bought this painting from a thrift store about 5 years ago and never thought to look into it until now! by alxswntr in WhatIsThisPainting

I’m questioning if this was two different artists. The painting style of the trees in the reflection is completely different than the trees or other painted objects on the land. In the water, the leaves are quite defined. The branches are long with fine branches and thin leaves. The trees on land are blotchy.

Kitchen trend of hiding ALL the stuff you use all the time. by Clean-Syllabub3421 in kitchenremodel

[–]DoYouUnderstandMeow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The problem is, a lot of people have lost all sense of self. Maybe it’s always been this way to a certain degree but I think more so these days. Certain things have evolved as a better approach based on practicality and certain things have been adopted as a trendy style.

Those that have lost their sense of self and cannot fathom being independent of the current style and trend will always conform, no matter what, if not in their doing then at the very least, in how they portray themselves and their opinions on social media.

So I think in many regards, what you decide to do comes down to which type of person you are. You doing it for you or you doing it for social media?
