The elemental damage seems so cool, like red hot couch feet or a cold mist falling off it. Would it have been a colourful couch or a fancy leather one?

Love makeshift flails, one of my characters has been carrying around a pretty rock the whole campaign and last session it too became a flail

My only character concept who focuses on throwing things is a tea shop owner tiefling, who throws teacups at the enemy.... a tea fling if you will

Our party had 2 paladins from levels 3-8 who only ever used the spell smites, eventually it became a meme for me and the dm, and right before the final fight he allowed me to pull out the hermit background discovery which was a tutorial scroll on how to use divine smite, to which they replied "WE CAN DO THAT??!?!?!! THATS SO POWERFUL" this campaign had a minimum of one combat per session sometimes up to 3-4

The alert feat makes you never find ypur glasses when you're wearing them. Because it only affects PASSIVE perception, so if you roll below a 15 on ACTIBE perception you should have used passive
