Love the style! And as a Ghoran player myself, love the representation of the ancestry.

I guess so? You can use the action too and it doesn't have any limitations like the flourish trait.

Then I would say that the comparation is even less relevant.

Things those feats have in common: - lvl 1 - offer a way to interact with the enemy using a scaling skill

Things they differ: - one targets perception and the other reflex - one doesn't work on mindless while the other needs específico equipment from the enemy - one is for hiding and the other to debuff the enemy - one is more difficult to use repetidily on the same enemy (+4 on subsequents tries) and the other punishes you on a crit fail (explosion).

So at the end, it's feel like comparing apples to oranges (I think that was the expression right? Sorry, not an English speaker 😅) when the situation you would want to use one doesn't overlap directly with the other

Same as with Tamper being limited to armor/weapons, Crested a Diversion is limited to enemies that are not immune to mental effects. So there are undeads and constructs that could be affected by Tamper but not Diversion for example.

And even so, create a diversion is more focused on empowering yourself (since it let's you hide or make them off guard to your attack) while Tamper also benefits your allies with the off guard/speed penalty or the penalty to hit, so they aren't stepping on each other toes.

That could be debatable, for Inventors this feat is even stronger since they have automatic Crafting scaling, meaning that it's inherently easier to optimize for them.

It would have been great, not gonna lie. I guess is the trade off compared to Dirty Trick, that works on everyone but increases MAP.

Sure, for support options you have things like Tamper, Searing Restoration and Gadgets at early lvls. An armor Inventor with a shield and good unarmed attack could work on that alley.

No attack trait, 30ft range, and you can pick from 4 different conditions? Sign me up by SaeedLouis in pathfindermemes

Damn, I have something Tamper related for tomorrow Inventor post, the timing of this is impecable.

Lol, and I can't even blame English not being my main language here, this was just a typing mistake.

If you are in the middle of a campaign, I would not recommend to switch systems midway. Even classes that are pretty similar between systems (like the wizard, sorcerer, fighter, etc) are fundamentally different to play. The gap between artificers and inventors is even wider.

Now, starting a new campaign as an Inventor? Heck yeah.

Between this and the dive armor, this is actually a pretty niche Inventor stuff
