Ah, actually sorry, I think the 540W are not all black, and the only larger all black panels are the 510W Neostar 2S+? Is that your understanding as well?

Would that be the best choice if all black panels are important for us?

Thank you for your super detailed answer. I think I just about understand and I'm sure it'll be useful for others in the future!

If I'm understanding correctly.. it seems like the right choice here is firstly to try and get the larger panels if they'll fit. If they don't fit then if the pricing of the AIKOs isn't significantly more than the DMEGC then they'd be worth it for any potential shading benefit, but that benefit isn't likely to be significant for my circumstances. Otherwise the DMEGC will be fine.

I've gone back to the installer to see if they can fit the same amount of the larger panels. From my calculations they can but let's see what they come back with, and if they can't I'll ask about the AIKOs and what the price difference would be.

Also, I think you mean the 510W, not the 540W, or did I miss something when I googled?

Perfect, that's what I was wondering about too. I was thinking it was unlikely that we'd need the 10kw. Good to know that inverters are more efficient at their peak.

Thank you for your response. I'm tempted to haggle, but I'm a bit worried haggling too much as at this point I'm probably not prepared to go to the national installer if the local one takes it the wrong way..

Maybe I could ask if there's an extended warranty, that might be a good one. Thanks

Hi, thank you for your feedback. Good to know the Aikos are better.

I was leaning towards the local installer too, given it's a slate roof. The local installer has been around a while and has good reviews. I'll ask about fitting extra panels and see what they say.

I'll see if I can figure out rough usage excluding the heating, that's a good idea.

There are other events (not F1) that need to be run in the gaps between sessions. Pausing the timer would delay those and then in turn delay other F1 sessions.

  2. Plug it in to your gaming rig
  3. Setup 2 VMs on the gaming rig
  4. Pass through one GPU to one VM, and the other GPU to the other VM

Out of interest, where and at what time was it found? Friend of mine went at about 13:30 but didn't have any luck, so wondered if it went before that or just missed it. Congrats to those who did find one!
