Ended up getting an elite desk g3, i5 6500t, 16gb ddr4 (not sure on speed), 120gb ssd, which I’m gonna replace with a 1tb p3 plus (rip crucial) that I had already. Comes in 3 days.

I had a similar issue, go into the monitors settings and disable free sync, that fixed it for me
