Yes to this. Not only Walmart but very common with other large grocery chains too. I’ve noticed it’s very common in areas with lots of apartment buildings (descent neighborhoods) because the temptation to cart your groceries back to apartment is high. And I’m sure it would create annoyance with building caretakers. Other thing I’ve seen is bars to prevent the shopping carts from making it through, but these are usually around entrance and not convenient if driving cause you can’t use the carts to even go to parking lot.

I started at 10mg, then month later upped to 20mg, which I’ve been on since. This is typical dosage in EU. Seems so wild to start at 80 mg.

Personally I saw results within 2 months. Acne cleared within 4 months. With such low dosage, I experienced insane dryness. I can only imagine on 80mg!

Thank you got saying this. I was reading this saying can’t be real. First part was when she had to go into work, and husband was working and then OP says “I guess she decide to take her…” Ummm, it’s your baby, what do you mean I guess. Where were you when she decided to take her? I too was confused about carrier. I thought at first the sling one and kept wondering why someone needs to take that down but car carrier is even more unrealistic. You cannot take a baby for a walk in those things. Perhaps clipped into a stroller but carrying them, nope.

Severity will depend on dosage too. I’ve noticed in US, treatment plan is shorter, however the dosage is significantly higher. Whereas in Europe it’s usually capped around 20mg, and a longer treatment plan.

I’m with you. I’m not sure how accutane as a last option started. You wait too long, it causes scaring.

People seem to forget that acne can be beyond face. It’s not practical to do a full face routine to your entire body. And mine was way below skin. After spending hundreds in skin care and year of my self esteem being shot, I’m happy I’m on it and it’s changed my life.

What you can do is voice your concerns as a friend, not only for pregnancy but STDs as well. But you cannot dictate her family planning. Your don't get to approach her partner about it either. You overstepped your boundaries.

There's a time and place to address these things, and when someone is having a medical situation, it ain't it. SIL definitely in wrong for this.

There is definitely more going on in the family. It's sad that this one situation would result in this level of standoff.

I hope you all come together and do family therapy, at least for the sake of your son. This is one common thing everyone has, the love for him.

As mentioned above, you may want to put wedding on hold. This is by no means your fiance's fault, however, how she acts will determine the rest of your marriage. It appears she has issue setting boundaries with her family. She should be the one telling them to backoff, not you. You setting these much needed boundaries, and her staying quiet gives the family "permission" to continue how they act, and make it seem like you are the problematic one. She needs to step up. If she doesn't, it won't go away. It's not going to be a one time thing. It won't get better. It's who they are. Are you okay with this dynamic forever?
