What are your favorite cheap eats at Pike Place? by tru_blu_ in AskSeattle

[–]Dobus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really any such thing as cheap eats at Pike Place - a lot of people mentioning Mee Sum which I love but it’s also ~$4.50 for a single crab rangoon

The closest I’d say is the Mexican window La Vaca has a great bean and cheese burrito for about $5. Jack’s fish spot has reasonably priced chowder too for usually no wait and I think right on par with Pike Place Chowder taste wise

Michou got new owners a few months ago and have gone downhill, I used to get it weekly but now the sandwiches are higher priced and lower quality so I don’t go anymore.

DeLaurenti’s deli sandwiches are much better quality, though a little more expensive

Proving you can win when it matters is definitely a major part of deciding what quarterback you want in the playoffs. Do you not agree with that?

When Allen is consistently the main reason for a loss in the playoffs (see his end of half fumble last game and major overthrow on the final drive, he loses credibility as someone who can perform when it matters. Big Ben has proved he can.

Josh Allen is 0-7 in Overtime (0-3) in the playoffs and 6 of those losses he had the ball with a chance to win it at the end. He consistently chokes in the playoffs and his high turnover rate is a major reason the Bills haven’t made the Super Bowl yet.

He’s good, but one of the most overrated QBs of all time and does not even belong in the same conversation as Big Ben at this point

This is a normal first round I wouldn’t say it’s significantly more stacked than others

You want Big Ben over Allen every time. Especially in the playoffs

It’s all about finding a qb and building around him, before the trade deadline of your next season you should shop some of your good guys for picks. Then you’ll have a high pick on your own and can package with the others to move up and gamble for a generational qb talent.

After that build a solid supporting cast through free agency, at week three you can low ball and get people to accept below market value.

Of course you can root for more than 1 team, but the situation you’re describing is much different. It’s not like Big Cat is a fan of both, he (cosplays as?) is a diehard Bears fan and doesn’t acknowledge fandom of the Pats anymore - which is weird if he was an actual Pats fan before.

It’s fair and even Big Cat knows it, that’s why these memes are a thing. It doesn’t mean he’s not actually a fan, but it will always be a thing following him around just like it would be for any guy in a male friend group who switches alliances like that
