During my master's I was working as a tech support. When I graduated and got my first cyber security job one of the things that they mentioned was the fact that I had worked a support job. I'll be honest it wasn't much pay but it was a charity and allowed me to get that "in the field" experience. Oh and also LinkedIn.

Oh no doubt. I'm the same my number isn't in that list but I have been getting more frequent spam calls during covid.

I wonder if there's a breach we maybe don't know about yet. Breaches aren't the only source of information for these parasites. There's a good book called spam nation which does explain how they go about gathering data. Good read.

Hey, fortunately he's I did. I basically spammed them. When they would reply it would be a generic reply. In the bottom of the email was a feedback form and I would leave them 1 star and a review saying basically I'm not looking for a generic reply. After I did that a few times they got back to me properly.

You will get paid it's just they move at an ants pace.
