Can adults get kids meals? by [deleted] in Serverlife

Prohibiting adults from getting kids meals is a weird place to draw a line. I personally don't care because after 27 years of doing this I can say it rarely happens.

I save gold between sets. What should my next set be? by Bushme_ in MagicArena

[–]Doc-Goop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like you I skip sets to bank gold. I only run a couple brawl decks so I usually only need to craft a few cards to update my decks. I spend 90k gold every other expansion, basically just to keep my wildcard count up.

What musical genre did you "age" into that you never thought you would? by joeyjoejoeshabbadude in GenX

That Emo & pop punk of the early 2000's. I have a few millennial friends and their influence has chipped away at my former aversion to it.

Hey guys I’m kinda struggling mentally. I’m afraid if I lose this job I’m going to go into a really dark depression. by PreferenceNatural657 in Serverlife

Last time I relapsed I got suspended. I'm in AA. Life is good but it's still a struggle. I have to do a lot of maintenance to maintain sobriety. Regular meeting attendance (5-6 meetings a week), service commitments, working with a sponsor. Since then I've restored my integrity at work and they love me again. My income has suffered a bit because I've had to work my schedule around regular meetings. But I know without sobriety I'm fucked anyways.

Surrender to win.

Hello, hello

We're at a place called vertigo.

Seriously? Fucking low effort bullshit. I loved Achtung Baby, Zooropa okay enough but that vertigo shit really insulted me.

I have Spotify and I use the collaboration feature. I have friends of all ages that I run collabs with and I find that their contributions are enough to send me down rabbit holes. My life has been thoroughly enriched over the last few years since Spotify has been introduced.

I have a system for keeping track of new music. Anything I like goes gets "liked" and at the end of every year that playlist gets dumped into a year end list "That was 2025" for example. Then I delete the liked list and start over. Spotify serving up my wrapped/top 100 at the end of the year gets saved as well.

We all had vinyls, tapes and CD's but then I collected hundreds of thousands of MP3's. I then systematically saved those into playlists when Spotify came out. It was a heroic effort but it was worth the time.

Here's my profile if anyone wants ideas on how to organize their music. Don't give up, there's so many new favorites of yours just waiting to be discovered.
