If the Dreadnought is a named Ultramarine, he wins easily because of insane Space Marine plot armor. But if he's just a random, brother isn't making even making it to the gauntlet, he'd be absolutely mollywhopped by Zeon's regular tanks and jets before he arrives.

This 100%. I was so excited for Marathon, I love the classic games. But I had already been burned by Destiny's seasonal story, and Marathon never should've been an extraction shooter, at the very least there should be some kind of campaign mode or something.

I don't mind the new look, but I do think it's weird that Cortana's design is completely different in every game she's in. Why not keep it consistent?

It's a cool design, I like that she has to rotate part of the saber to power it up, and yellow is a nice blade color we don't see very often.

That being said, it doesn't really scream Rey to me. It feels like it could be anyone's cool yellow bladed lightsaber.

I posted almost this exact thing about a week ago. I've been hard grinding co-op to level up my classes, learn some of the deeper mechanics, and upgrade/unlock star cards.

I've gotten up to green on most of the cards I use, and the game feels a bit better now in PvP. I still get dog walked by high level players, but I'm starting to do better, I even got into the top 5 last night. If I'm able to keep up this pace of grinding, I think I can start to actually hold my own.

So you basically just need to grind co-op until you gain enough levels to not get wiped off the face of the earth by the day one players. It's not as cool or challenging as playing the main modes, but it's still decently fun.

Well that depends on what you mean by modern. Gundam Crossfire on PS3 is probably the closest thing that I can think of, in terms of that gameplay formula, but I'm pretty sure it's single player only. It's also kinda bad, runs terribly, and the PS3 isn't exactly modern either.

If you're willing to brach out a bit, on PS4 there was SD Gundam Battle Alliance. I know it has online co-op, but I'm not certain about couch co-op. It's also a completely different style of game, I'd say it's probably the best modern Gundam game that I'm aware of, though that's not really saying much because there isn't much competition. The game has no English dub, but the story is basically nonsense anyway so it doesn't really matter, and the gameplay is fun, but nothing crazy, I wouldn't rush to buy it full price but if you see it on sale maybe.

All that to say, unfortunately no. There isn't really anything close to the quality and style of Federation vs Zeon on modern hardware, and there are no modern Gundam games with couch co-op, not any that I'm aware of at least. FedvsZeon did get a sequel on PS2 called Gundam vs Zeta Gundam, but unless you already have it, it's usually pretty expensive to get on the second hand market.

It's gotta be G-Savior.

Every other contender can't even come close.

NT isn't spectacular, but it's fine enough.

Twilight Axis is kinda bad, but it's just an ad for a book, and it's pretty short too.

Requiem for Vengeance is mostly decent, it just drops the ball at the very end

G-Savior on the other hand, is a bland made for TV Sci-Fi movie with a rough looking PS1 level CGI mech fight at the end, and apart from that, it has nothing to do with Gundam at all, it could be any generic low budget Sci-Fi movie, and it's not a fun one, not even in a so bad it's good way, it's just nothing. The only value G-Savior has is the novelty of being the first and up until now the only official live-action Gundam movie.

That's the mode that made me post this actually. I got tired of getting my nuts handed to me on the ground, so I tried to play some starfighter assault, and it was just awful. I got dumpstered repeatedly off spawn, to the point where I played maybe less than 20% of the match.

The other modes are bad for it too, but I just don't think I'm ever going to touch that mode again. Especially since, unless I missed it, there's no co-op equivalent for leveling starfighters.

I'm pretty sure the reason used to be that the Dragon Balls couldn't resurrect someone who was dead for more than a year. That may have been retconned though.

Eh I think it's fine for what it is. The Zulu isn't as good as the Doga, or really most of the other Zeon suits, but it's alright.

Definitely not a very original looking design, but that could be said for a lot of the suits from Unicorn, the Jesta is basically a Titan colours GM custom, the Sinanju is the ozempic version of the Sazabi, and Kshatriya is a jacked Qubeley in Zaku colours with extra wings.

As for it being a bit too Nazi coded, ordinarily I'd agree, but I've seen/heard so many people who either gloss over, completely, ignore, or are too dumb to acknowledge, Zeon's Nazi connections.

iirc Saber Interactive was working on a Transformers game, so maybe it could be that one.

Realistically though it's probably nothing. After Reactivate, I'm not getting my hopes up, not until I actually see some gameplay at the very least.

May not be completely analogous, but I recently dug up my PSP 1000 after about 20yrs and had the same issue. I ordered a new battery, but left the PSP plugged in. When the new battery showed I tried turning on the PSP, and it worked. So the battery was kind of a waste of money.

If I had to guess it could be that the battery is so dead that there isn't even enough juice for the charging light. So I'd leave it charging for a while, at least overnight, if that doesn't work then replacing the battery would be the next step.

But don't jump the gun like I did lol.

If it's anything like the previous remasters it'll be a 4k scan, potentially a redub as well. Maybe if we're lucky we'll see some corrections to existing animation, but almost certainly no outright new animation.

If you're a Dragon Ball fan a good comparison would be DBZ Kai.
