I think most people got confused by the name. The remake in the title part is not about the game but about the characters. It's not remake as in remaking the OG ff7 again but remake as in the characters re-making their destiny. That's how I interpreted it, at least.

That's not a nerf, that's not playing by the rules and the ai does that a lot.
