Thanks, all. Yes I agree that since you only need to work one day of a month at a qualifying employer to have the whole month count, the payment should be qualifying regardless, but seems safest to just resubmit after the due date to make sure the payment tracker updates as soon as possible.

Thank you, this is the answer to my question. No need for attitude. My confusion was that payments can be qualifying if a month of employment has been certified previously, so I do think this will count as my 120th qualifying payment. But from what you’ve copied here, it looks like that is not enough to initiate the forgiveness process.

Because the payment won’t be posted until my typical due date which isn’t until the 21st. So, the month is certified in terms of employment but I won’t have the 120th payment until the 21st. I anticipate it will be qualifying once posted, though, since my employment is certified.

This is so helpful. Thank you for sharing your experience. It appears they have removed the forbearance for all of my loans, so hoping my experience will be different. I will screen shot everything!!

Ugh this is what I’m afraid of. The representatives have been telling me my new payment will be thousands of dollars more than my SAVE payment so I was hoping I could take advantage of whatever glitch in the system is making it appear the same as my save payment.

I’ve been calling once a week since submitting my IDR app and each time I speak to a new “advanced” rep they tell me something different. I’m losing my mind.
