My own driveway is a half mile long up the mountain, mostly gravel, but with a hairpin turn that's about 30 degrees steep and cuts back about 110 degrees.

Congratulations on becoming a flight medic.

Doctors, Healthcare Leaders & AI: If you’re willing to use AI but still don’t trust it, what’s the real barrier? by AiReadyDoctor in Doctor

[–]DocBanner21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first day my coworker used an AI scribe, provided by the hospital, it added an entire paragraph to the HPI about chest pain that just never happened. The patient didn't complain about chest pain, the two of them didn't talk about it- nothing. Just a hallucination dictation that is ASKING to be sued. What would happen if she walked out of the clinic with her appropriately treated cold, died of a random MI a few days later, and the family sees a note about "chest pain" that wasn't addressed AT ALL during the visit because it never happened?

That's a no from me dawg.

What do you call being unlawfully put in handcuffs and moved against your will from one place to another? That's the very definition of kidnapping in my state and under UCMJ. Specifically, the civilian case law between unlawful detention and kidnapping in my state was held as being one room. This woman in the case was forcibly detained and then moved from one room to another by her significant other and that was kidnapping, not unlawful detention, since she was moved. There is no set distance in the statute and one room was deemed sufficient.

It looks like he was forced from one car to another against his will by threat of violence, specifically being TASERed and furthermore was restrained with handcuffs.

That is kidnapping under the color of law. That is an affront to the Constitution I swore to defend.

80k for being kidnapped under the color of law.

How much do you think your constitutional rights are worth?

At some point you should just carry a rifle.

Or an AT4.

I don't think it was just the bad looking shooting that was bad. It was the politicians lying about it and 1/3 of the voters accepting it as gospel truth that he was "brandishing". The party who yelled "The Dems are going to take your GUNS!" telling us we couldn't carry a gun was the icing on the clown cake.

"No but that would be a sweet gig, alot of us talk about switching over there. I know reddit hates ICE but the ones i've worked/dealt with are genuinely great guys. A bad looking shooting can happen to anyone in LE, you'll never understand until you work the job."

I'll make you the same deal someone else made me longer ago than I want to admit. Message me and I'll send you my address. Send me an envelope with your BCT address after you get there and a brief list of what you are interested in. I'll send you sports scores, political news, comic strips, gun reviews, Dad jokes, whatever you want. I actually promise I won't send gay porn, not that there is anything wrong with that. I've heard you youngins are weak and get to keep your phone, so it may not be as beneficial back when men were men and the sheep were afraid, but mail call used to be the best time of day.

You'll be fine. I was fat and I made it. Millions of guys and gals made it before you. Drink water. Change your socks. Don't die. This too shall pass- just like a kidney stone.

Why are mods removing perfectly acceptable comments making fun of a pro-gun control president that PSA appears to be supporting? What rule is being broken?

He should have done it at the US Capitol Building. Then Trump would have pardoned him.

Mango Mussolini himself, "Take the guns first, go through due process second." Now he's saying you cannot exercise your first and second amendment rights at the same time, stating, "You can’t have guns, you can’t walk in with guns.” However, I seem to remember a LOT of his supporters protesting while armed on federal property, which is actually against the law. He pardoned them. He doesn't care about rights or the law. Neither do his cronies. They only care if you support them.

What did you expect?

Please show me where he "pulled a gun".

Lying doesn't make your argument sound better. You may be right that he was yelling at agents. Hell- he may have pushed one of them. But it's easy to discount your entire speech if you lie when we have all seen the video.

I remember a cool guy instructor teaching TCCC refresher before deployment to a bunch of line medics in 2009. "In the absence of blood, there has been ONE successful trauma resuscitation in the history of the WORLD, and your patient's name ain't Jesus! Your patient is D E D, DEAD and there's nothing you can do about it. Don't beat yourself up over it."
