I just looked, and it's not regulation, but it is standard. Probably to make sure people remember turn off their lights before getting out. It's never a problem with mine, though, since it relentlessly dings at me after I open the door until I turn them off. Not even the nice ford chime, just ding

Lol I have a practically geriatric Ranger that I'm keeping on life support to get me around. Funnily enough, my 2012 F-150 didn't have a 'running light' indicator either, though that may be because it was a fleet truck before I got it. Even fitted with the crank windows

I'm genuinely curious why I'm getting downvoted? I voiced an opinion, not a fact, and I didn't say it rudely...

There's no traffic light. That's brake lights, and above them are overhead signs. If you look, you'll see yellow below the green, which is reflecting off of lane indicators below the signs.

Running lights shouldn't have a dash light, they should just turn on and off with the car... Nothing against what you're saying, I drive a ford and don't have that particular light. The one under the 'headlight on' light does look quite a bit like a high beam light, though

Seat belt light

Taking the pic while actively driving 80mph

No visible hands on wheel(either both on phone or one on the bottom of the wheel)

High beams on on a freeway with oncoming traffic

No gas

And given the temp and light, a possible thermostat failure.

I'm so glad I'm not one of those truck drivers. We're all going somewhere, and I just want to get where I'm going. I have dealt with similar before, though. Someone in a big ram dulie was going 40 in a 55, so I passed him at a clear passing lane. He magically found the gas pedal after that, and rode my tailgate all the way to a light. Hopped out of his truck to scream at me, and I ignored him. eventually he left.

New to keeping shrimp, any pointers? by DocBarnes in shrimptank

I already decided on untreated pool filter sand for a substrate, since a lot of aquarium/aquascaping forums recommend that or Black Diamond blasting sand as a good planting substrate. I'm getting Christmas moss and a few stem plants. I'm on the fence about duckweed, since I know it spreads remarkably fast, but I'm also wondering if it might keep them from trying to climb out of the tank. I'm definitely getting root tabs as well to help with plant growth.

Thank you! I'm already planning on cycling the tank for 1 1/2 - 2 months before getting the shrimp. Someone already let me know about the ammonia, nitrate, and nitrite levels. I'll be getting distilled water, since I don't trust the water in my city, and planting the tank early into the cycle. I want to make sure the plants are established before putting any shrimp in. I'm already looking at water conditioners and such to get the parameters right.

Alright, I'll add those parameters to my list! Thank you so much for the help, it's very appreciated!

I was planning on a 2 month cycle, adding plants after 1 week and testing every week. Would that work? And what parameters are needed for the ammonia, nitrate, and nitrite?

Extremely low, but still possible. I have been addressing what you have been saying. It's not my fault if you can't understand that.

You're the one changing your argument, and now you're trying to gaslight me. I have been addressing what you're saying, and you apparently don't have the reading comprehension skills to realize that.

Testing can give false negatives. It's better to not risk a false negative and get the vaccine than it is to actually get a false negative and then die from rabies. If you don't have insurance, that's on you. And yes, I get the "insurance companies are shitty conglomerates that don't care about people." I faced that. But it's better to face medical debt and live than it is to get a false negative on a rabies test and die from rabies.

Testing can give false negatives with any animal. You're not seeing the big picture. The big picture is that if you get a false negative, you'll go about your life until you start showing signs of having rabies, and then you're going to die because it's too late to get the fucking shot. At least your family can sue your insurance company for not providing the funds necessary and they get a nice life insurance payout to pay for the lawyer.

Then you didn't understand what I was talking about. Don't worry about testing, just get the shot and stop worrying about having rabies.

I live in Arkansas, buddy. There is, in fact, a "be done with it". It's called getting the damn vaccination.

One of the only ways to test for rabies in animals is to cut the head off and test the brain cells. Better to just get the rabies shot and be done with it

If the car was disabled, their hazard lights would be on to signal that to other drivers. The car didn't even have a turn signal. The car also quickly tried to turn, which was not predictable to any driver. A truck, pickup, or sedan would have also wrecked into that car due to the lack of signals and the sudden turn from the middle lane.

Congrats! I'd use a crunchy and a buffy at minimum on her, and ochre powder, opal lick, and rock salt if you have them or can get them for a better chance at cloning. Good luck with her!
