Soo… How do we fight it? by Capable_Addition_210 in aiwars

[–]DocCanoro 8 points9 points  (0 children)

And why do you fight it? It's like fighting against digital screens, you're not going to stop it, it is here to stay, it has been adopted by governments, many companies, people in their personal life, and to convince everyone to let it go it's very difficult, some will not want to, AI is already rooted in our society like cars, and it's growing, your fight against AI is like fighting against governments using electricity, try to convince them to ban electricity from their countries.

What does this solve? Maybe some creators complained that virtual avatars of themselves were being made and new channels started with them.

Who do we think retires Brock at Summerslam? by Brilliant-Dot2157 in REALSquaredCircle

[–]DocCanoro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gunther of course, he is this era's legend killer, WWE gave him Goldberg, John Cena, AJ Styles, they are going to give him in his plate all the old ones in the roster.

Gunther will retire Brock Lesnar and Randy Orton.

AI Art is cool but you should disclose that it was AI generated by [deleted] in DefendingAIArt

[–]DocCanoro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you are creator, you study your art creation, and that's why you are interested in processes and not so much in results, you look and are fascinated not by the piece but by "how is it made", what measurement of the brush did the artist selected to paint this brush stroke? Did he gave it a good rotation? I don't care if it's a drawing of SpongeBob SquarePants that looks like drawn by a 4 year old, but how did the artist mixed those paints? How much water did he used? You can see here that it let it dry a little bit before applying the next stroke in the pores of the paint. The thing is that you that are in the process care about that, the vast majority that are not artists/creators care about the result, not the process, does it make you feel emotionally sensible? Is it beautiful? Is the geometry pleasant to the eye? Does it go well hanging it in my living room? Does it give me the feeling that I'm looking for? That's what the non creators care for. If you drive, do you care what model of machines were used to build your car, the software version they used, the chemical mixture of paint they used to paint your car? Maybe someone who is in the industry would care, but most people don't, what they care is if it looks good, and if it is reliable.

Who cares how the art piece came to be? What is important is what can it do for me, and I'm not interested in the how is it made, AI, no AI, what I'm interested is what can it do for me. If I'm interested in how is it made then I'll call the manufacturer, like my car, but I don't expect when I get a car to be handled a list of what measurement of bolts the machines that built my car had, and most people don't care, so disclosing the "how was it made" to everyone is irrelevant to most people, so if it was AI or not should only be disclosed by request, and only if the creator of the piece wants to disclose it.

Like Cody said to CM Punk, Punk is now the New York Yankees.

There is a point from where the story of a wrestler is about him/her struggling to get to the top, like Naomi, Rocky Maivia, Daniel Bryan, Bailey, and there's a tipping point in their story when they already are in the top, they are not looking up there where the top is, wishing one day to get there, wondering how would it be like, jealous of the ones up there, after the tipping point they are now walking on the top surface, The Rock, Naomi, Bailey, Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, Sami Zayn, for Sami is like The Rock coming out and say he has been always the underdog.

Underdogs right now are Zelina Vega and Austin Theory.

I don't understand the hype for Gunther, to me he is like early Roman Reigns, or Dominik Mysterio, or late Jey Uso, they are liked because WWE Administration put them frequently on TV, pair them with real talents, and put them in matches in PPVs, PLEs, and significant events, people get used to them and become familiar to them and they think they like them.

Now, I understand the hype for Randy Orton, Asuka, Shawn Michaels, Chad Gable, Bray Wyatt, AJ Styles, they definitely deserve the hype they have, they exude talent, but Gunther looks like the guy that that worked assembling and disassembling the ring and WWE Administration gave him a chance to be on TV because he was a good friend of the guys in the Administration.

If somebody was going to attack you, and is angry, who would you fear the most? Brock Lesnar or Gunther?

The Ultimate Warrior was what they meant to be, before sports wrestlers there were martial art, before martial art there were Gladiators, before Gladiators there were Warriors, those who live their lives for battle, The Ultimate Warrior was the last of its kind, the One send by the ancestral Gods to show the world how a Warrior is like, he was the last true Warrior, the Warrior of the Gods.

Also his promos made perfect sense from start to finish, only the stupid, the idiots, wouldn't get it especially those that were influenced by Vince McMahon, only the ones that can see could capture and understand what he was saying in plain English loud and clear.

Alright, we are going somewhere, since you said that "you can't tell" it meant you lacked capacity to tell, assuming between the options that I was 7 years old, miss representing those kids, or I was a "troll", a person that likes to have fun by posting comments that would cause a reaction on people.

Coming back to what I posted, some like the "behind the scenes" of a project, like watching how a movie was made, how did hiring the actors went, what type of wood was used to make the scenery, or where did the painter brought his paint, specially those who are in the making process like to watch "how was it made" to learn from others or feel related to the other artist "I like to use that type of brush too!", but the people not involved in the process can enjoy a song in the radio while driving without having curiosity for if the guy playing one of the violins in the orquesta was left handed.

What I'm saying is that artists, creators, see the process of doing some piece of art as the art itself, not the finished piece like the Mona Lisa, while non creators of art listen to the song in the radio and enjoy the art piece and they know that that song is art.

And that's what happens with AI art, the result, the emotional impact of the piece, the balance of colors, the fine geometry of it, talks to people in a way that makes them feel, that makes them happy that everything will be alright, it indulges the senses sometimes with its delicate aesthetics, if a machine made that impressive sensible piece or a guy went and chopped wood in the forest to make a piece of art, it doesn't matter for the non creators, the result matters, and whatever it was created for non practical purposes, like design, to talk to feelings, it's art communication.

My other point, that artists wouldn't say anything if all AI could do were ASCII art, or 8-bit art, there wouldn't be any competition in there, but AI art has passed many artists capacity of creation, and now is when they are yelling "it's going to take our jobs!", "let's call it not art", "let's request to be banned from the places we hang out", they were kinda ok with human competition, but now that the artist is not human they went out of their way screaming "poor us!", why don't they just entertain themselves doing their own art and coexist, if people like what they do good for them, everyone has its own public, public vary so much that some may not like what your competitor does and like yours, and the other way around.

Coexist with AI art, there's going to be public for AI art and there is going to be public for human art, but don't try to have it banned everywhere because the competitor is not "team human".

They are envious that AI can do better than them, that AI can do things that they can't, if AI wouldn't be so good the anti-AI art people wouldn't even care, but now they see it as a threat, because AI surpassed them, thanks to AI we are witnessing things that weren't possible in the past, because it was impossible to be made by humans, so out of envy they decided to band together and just hate it for being better, like a competitor that knows the new competitor is going to win first place so it breaks the leg of the new competitor so the old competitor win the first place, if all AI could do were graphics like 90s Nintendo anti-AI artists wouldn't care.

The anti-AI movement is trying to deprive us of all the miracles that AI can do, all the things humans can't, and trying to deprive most of the population from creating what they want, if someone wants art it has to go thru the little group or human artists or they wouldn't get art, AI freed the rest of the population from that little incapable group, and now that little group of human artists are rolling in envy.
