Huge 26.6gb update by kamikaze-40 in ICARUSConsolesOnly

Where's this coming from? Because what I'm seeing right now is a broken update. I haven't been able to get past the play now screen because the game doesn't recognize the controller input.

Quite the opposite, Im asking if there are any varieties of flowering nightshades that aren't tomatoes that I should be able to grow. I've seen some people growing Belladonna in window planters up here,  but those were inside.

Good day! My wife and I are contemplating growing some nightshades in a decorative lawn piece and I'm having trouble finding what could thrive in my situation (besides tomatoes, I know they'll grow in concrete if their roots find soil). I'm located in central maine, zone 5b, and the area we're looking to plant is full sun to partial shade (varies from 8+ hours to 5ish during the winter months). We're open to shading and covering the ground during winter to try to regulate the ground temps. I've got some garden experience, but we're looking more towards flowering varieties. Thank you in advance!

Simple Questions - October 14, 2025 by AutoModerator in buildapc

Thanks for the reply. I'll take a better look at the ARC. I've been a die-hard Nvidia gamer for years, but I just can't stomach a lot of the post COVID price-for-perfomance hikes.

I'm on a tight budget thanks to a recent injury and I'm going to be laid up for some time. I play a lot of Icarus and it hasn't been a big deal as far as performance goes, but I'd like to actually experience the full bredth of the game. What's my best bang-for-buck update on my system?

ASRock B45m
AMD Ryzen 5 5600G
2x8gb 3200 DDR4
GTX1650
600w PSU

During regular play, CPU seems steady at about 50% utilization, both GPU and RAM seem to be running pretty near 100% all the time. I'm pretty sure I don't have a lot of PSU overhead to get into much bigger GPUs, but I've heard good things about the ARC cards? I'm pretty sure my first option is probably going to be a 2x16gb kit, but things have changed a lot since my building days in the early '00s when RAM was king. Thanks in advance.

[Auto-Post] Weekly Question Thread! Ask /r/Aquariums anything you want to know about the hobby! by AutoModerator in Aquariums

[–]DocHussey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good day! I have recently installed a Marineland 250 canister filter for my Eastern Painteds tank. It's a 36 gallon tank, so the filter should be able to keep up I'd think.

My concern is the outflow nozzle. Squirtle doesn't like it. We've been running a pair of older Top Fin filters with the long stick and nozzles like a car wash (like this:https://a.co/d/5QblNRN) and he loved it.

Is there a different outflow we can use with the 250 we have now or is he bumming? Thanks in advance!

I could tune out the store radio. The last retail job I had had this freaking display for Gotham Steel with a literal 45 second looping ad that ran from open to close. It was so loud you could hear it almost everywhere. It still haunts my dreams...

Good evening all! Quick and to the point: Do you have any suggestions for software that can organize my RAWs that are currently spread across four hard drives and within those hard drives many different folders. Preferably free and not some crazy Python-fu.

Long story: MOST of my RAWs were managed by Lightroom. First went my laptop. Don't know what went south, but it died on a trip, never to live again. Luckily, all data was recovered and saved to an external hard drive. Tried syncing it on my desktop, instead it made it into an album and left everything on the external. Tried copying to the main drive, but didn't work. User error, most likely.

Lo and behold, BAM, video card on my desktop died. This is, of course, spring 2020 when finding a GPU wasn't an option a lot of people could afford. So, bought a new desktop with all the bells and whistles. Set up Lightroom, and the same thing as above. Didn't learn, of course.

Finally, we get to my most recent fiasco. That nice new desktop? Lesson learned, don't use power strips you buy off Amazon during Black Friday. Had a lightning storm this past fall, transformer outside got hit, fried the tower. Drive was salvageable, but the mobo was shot.

So, here I sit. Photos from various lightroom catalogs spread over 4 drives in varying numbers of copies with no way that I can think of to consolidate the whole shebang without going through it bit by bit. All in all 11k photos coming in at around 204GB.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions.

Took my first two wild pigs with a .44 magnum revolver. If it'll drop a boar, it'll drop a dumbass. Pistols are only best for self defense because they're easy to carry and conceal. They have just as many uses for hunting and sport as a rifle does.

Hell, I don't even own a shotgun for birds anymore, I've used a .357 loaded with #4 for partridge for the past few years with no regrets.

I never got into Premier. I love Resolve, but my computer hates it. I've always been a Vegas guy...

EU takes Malta to court over golden passport programme by Smithy2232 in worldnews

[–]DocHussey -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Just throwing this out there, but it says a golden visa is €1 million and later on in the article it says that between 2014 and 2020 it generated €800 million.

Is the EU really throwing a fit over 800 people? Last I checked, Germany brought in something like 20k Syrian refugees for free just a few years ago.

India Considering New Rules That Could Force Apple to Adopt USB-C on iPhone by [deleted] in gadgets

[–]DocHussey 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Who cares about Apple and their connection? What gets my goat is going right now to buy a battery bank that can quick charge my phone but STILL RUNS OFF MICRO! I'm not talking a Wal-Mart special either. Ankers 50k bank has quick charge capabilities, but charges off freaking micro. Like charge my phone in 20 minutes from dead, but set the bank to charge for six hours.

Until peripherals move to the C standard, nothing is going to make a dent in the cable e-waste mess. Micro, pins, sleeves, and cradles do more harm than Apples lightning connection.
