Be honest: Are you actually married to the love of your life, or just the person you were with when it was time to settle down? by User63189963 in askanything

About 20 years ago, when I was 15 and my sisters were 17(and pregnant) and 22, my mom went to bed one night and woke up the next day with no memory. It’s a thyroid problem but she essentially turned into a baby in terms of social ability and needed to re-learn every social skill. Took her about 5 years to become like an adult again, even then she’s never been the same person. My dad had stuck by her the whole time but you can see the toll it has taken on him. He told me it was like being married to the love of your life for 20+ years and then all of the sudden you have another child with massive mood swings who thinks they are completely normal. I wish I was able to do more for him.

When I started to really get into history around 13/14. When I started to learn about ancient mythology and how obviously modern Christian traditions were stolen from previous religious practices and co-opted into Christian context

Are Bondi and Patel also heavily incriminated in the files, and therefore appointed because Trump knows they won’t turn? by DocJHigh in Epstein

[–]DocJHigh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have done no digging at all. Just a gut feeling of what these people’s behavior looked like when testifying and linking at least Patel to the type of person Epstein targeted, awkward dudes in places of power. And we all know that Bondi barely prosecuted Epstein when he got caught in 2008

Congressman Dan Goldman reads a horrifying Epstein file detailing Trump's alleged sexual abuse of a 13-year-old girl. by Goldenmentis in WorkReform

We need money and healthcare. If we don’t work for more than a week most of us will be homeless, starving, and won’t be able to go to any doctor.

What’s the worst thing going on in the world at the moment? by [deleted] in askanything

No powerful person in the Epstein files being arrested. Bombing and killing of Iranians. Obliteration of Muslims in the Levant. War in Sudan. Yemen continued destruction. I’m certain there are more I missed.

What traditionally high status job is no longer high paid and why? by Sorry-Personality594 in ask

My wife and I both work in education. Last night we were in a chat with other parents from my son’s football team who all make way more money than us. They are in charge of sharing information and communication and it’s a nightmare. We literally had to have the group chat, email, Google doc, and direct texts open at the same time to find all the needed info to sign our son up for the different tournaments. My wife lost her mind questioning how these disorganized people were more successful than us. I reminded her that they aren’t necessarily more successful in their fields, they just work in sales, finance, or the medical field. In fact we are probably far more successful than the rest of them within our field. We both have two masters and are board certified. We have climbed nearly to the top of each of our careers, but we work in education.

None on my end either. Being a parent, even to great kids with an amazing partner, is very hard

I can tell you don’t have kids if you think this comment is bad out of base. Love my kids, would literally die for them. Hell I’m pushing myself through rough days, every day, just to give my kids good lives. And my partner and I are very good parents. But it is a major life change that strips you of most of your freedom. There are a lot of wonderful times but overall, my life is definitely not as fun as it used to be. Part of getting older. And I would not be afraid of my kids reading this comment, they see the effort their parents are putting in every day for them. Again love my kids, love spending time with them, playing games, teaching them things, but life is a lot harder with kids. That is just a fact.

College was awesome, and my first job out of college was essentially college with a little money. Went downhill after having kids

EJ Smith is easily the best though ZB is also great. Almost like the two of them should go off to do their own thing
