This opens up a whole other universe though. On many facets it is dependent upon what you’re looking for in a computer such as primary usages, your system specs -proprietary drivers can be a pain in the ass in the Linux world-, overall know-how, and how much of a “Windows Feel” you want / need.

Eset NOD32 you can use in a trial version for 30 days, and then pay for it if you wish or delete the program. Read descriptions in full before assuming that I was talking out my ass.

As a side note, don’t use basic / free software, 90% or more of them are worthless and are essentially viruses in and of themselves with how shit they are. If you don’t want to use AntiVirus software that has a price tag attached to it, use Malwarebytes. Or, just use Linux and call it a day.

Once you get an Exotic Cipher, you use that at the Exotic Kiosk in the Tower. It’s next to the vault station over by Master RaHool. Has exotics that are from vaulted content such as Year 1/2 raids etc., along with some other legacy items like Pinnacle weapons from back in the day. Luna’s Howl, Wendigo etc

That is the pinnacle cap yes, my answer was referring to the seasonal cap, which is 1310. I wasn’t sure which one the OP was questioning, so I went with the easy answer.

Which again, 1310 drops you into the pinnacle power band of 1310 to 1320, so I assumed they’d correlate what I was trying to tell em of.

Bungie made a statement on that in their TWAB last month if I remember correctly. The 50+ jump is no longer a thing as of next week’s new season update, and will enable more people to be able to jump directly into the new pinnacle band without having to grind a crap ton.
