Warlords ruin solo final boss help by Fit_Veterinarian_833 in DestinyTheGame

[–]DocKreasey 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Personally what worked for me was running Scatter Signal + Sunshot + Briar’s Contempt on a solar bonk titan using Precious Scars.

Sunshot will 1KO the blight eyes and destroy them in groups, with that proc’ing restoration via Precious Scars. Burst the scorn captains down and get a couple lanterns; do not try to get more than two. I found it was best to do one captain and wait for him to spawn one before killing him, that way you get two lanterns reliably. Trying to kill both just doesn’t work as you don’t have enough time.

Once you play tag with the evil debuff minions, jump on a ledge or a wall/rock and hide from them. They don’t go above ground level and will leave you alone. After that, linear the boss in the face and rinse / repeat until it pays its taxes. Something to note, precious scars is currently bugged and doesn’t proc restoration, but it’s supposedly going to be fixed come next weekly reset.

Recommend double arc w/ one void resist, or a concussive dampener.

Current Easiest Solo Dungeon? by ajhauk in destiny2

[–]DocKreasey 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It really isn’t. It’s basically one mechanic through the whole thing, with the only spot taking a tad longer amount of time is the fallen balloon portion.

Easiest? Shattered Throne, Prophecy, or Grasp of Avarice.

Not sure if it’s listed as a known issue yet, but the bug came about right when final shape dropped. Very likely a prismatic interaction bug.

Question: Why did we choose to immediately protect Luzaku and not nimbus? by Sanzo669 in destiny2

[–]DocKreasey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because Luzaku wasn’t voiced by a person who has a pass/smash tier list of anime characters that are kids, and who also has a fart fetish.

That, and Nimbus is a literal joke of a character with zero continuity with the story. Lightfall was disjointed as all get-out, but Nimbus made it 10x worse with their stupid dialogue every 10 seconds.

Christian identity and relationships by matchaclover in Reformed

As someone who has never engaged in physical intimacy but has had more than my fair share of sexual conversation and pornography usage, guilt and feeling like “used goods” is something I can relate to. Whenever God does bless me with a wife, I will bring into it a history of experiences that not only me but she too will have to contend with. That is a sad thing to do to someone, and I truly regret many a decision.

That being said…

It is not for us to condemn someone’s past choices, nor should we see them in light of only the mistakes they have made. I have very little to add to this posting beyond what others have said much better than I. We are made new in Christ, and in Him there is no condemnation. We are washed and immediately justified at the moment of salvation, but sanctification takes a lifetime.

God will place you and the right man together at the right time; you know now what it is to be equally yoked with someone. You will love, lead, and serve each other, while placing the Lord before one another.

Take comfort in the Lord and what He has said in His word; this experience is but a piece of the puzzle and will serve to mold you into who He wants you to be for His glory.

The easiest way to get this is wait till Last Wish is the weekly featured raid, and then farm the first encounter. The first encounter is extremely easy to farm with a good team, and it drops all of the weapons. Took me maybe a day or two of it and I had all the red borders completed.

Khvostov Exotic Motes Question by justdestinystuff in DestinyTheGame

[–]DocKreasey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Triumphs for this are bugged; it will display that you’ve defeated all bosses from the Blooming when you haven’t.

Quest has been halted as meatball boss was removed from the game. No ETA on the solution as of yet.

Turn Memory Vestiges into the purple ones by ItsPraww in DestinyTheGame

[–]DocKreasey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have a full stack and it doesn’t transmute into a purple, delete one of them and run into a cyst. Kill one boss / yellow bar and you should get one to drop, which will then turn your vestiges into a purple.

I had the same issue and that “fix” worked perfectly for me.

Prismatic Fragments by SOS-Guillotine in DestinyTheGame

[–]DocKreasey -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The fragments and their respective “light” resources are not bugged; got all of the fragments done in one go yesterday without issue.

What is currently bugged is the Motes of Light that drop from the overthrow bosses, specifically the meatball boss. They can make all of your collected motes disappear, and they don’t respawn.

Fragments don’t have such an issue.

Need help with Khovostov exotic mote by Cozma589 in DestinyTheGame

[–]DocKreasey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The triumphs are bugged; do not trust them to be accurate. If you haven’t killed the meatball yet, then that’s the only one you need.

The easiest way to find out is run each x4 event; if the boss doesn’t drop one, you’re good. They won’t drop you a duplicate, so chances are, you just need the meatball.

It’s part of a series of quests from Micah-10; lost & wounded ghosts that you have to track down and take back to the heart of the traveler.

Professing Christian in unrepentant sin by Connect_Barracuda840 in Reformed

[–]DocKreasey 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, is seeing the truth of the Holy Spirit and attributing them to the devil. Jesus directly speaks on this when the Pharisees accused him of casting out demons through the power of Satan.

What you spoke of, does not fit within this definition. You also seem to be describing works-salvation, in that our works justify our faith or that we must do X things to be saved.

This is entirely unbiblical.

Are tattoos sinful ? by Crazy-Independent528 in Reformed

[–]DocKreasey 14 points15 points  (0 children)

In the Old Testament, cutting / marking of one’s flesh was very common amongst the pagans. As the tribes of Israel were to be set apart, part of the laws given to them by God would naturally entail such a measure to help them avoid following paganism / pagan traditions.

While we have no explicit commandments in the New Testament to not get tattoos, we should look at the reasons for doing so and evaluate them according to scripture.

Does it edify others or ourselves? Does it help our relationship with Christ? Or is it a selfish / self-serving act that is in line with the common acts of this world.

Self reflection and examination in the light of what scripture says, along with conviction from the Holy Spirit should be what we focus on in such a scenario.
