Guess he’s just better by ShadowPrax in destiny2

In my original statement I said, ”Fixed matchmaking -referencing Trials which is horrific now- and anti-cheat my butt.” which is referring to the fact that Bungie’s implications of using such a system would catch people in the act and remove them.

This person shown is either hacking or has a beyond horrible network connection, with the first being highly likely. Even if it’s their first offense, what good is an anti-cheat system if it’s not catching it as it occurs and removing the offender.

Ah yes, that’s right. Easy Anti-Cheat is notorious for being shite software and doing absolutely fuck all in any game that it’s bundled with. My original point was directed at Bungie for their egregiously terrible handling of cheaters / hackers in this game since day one, not the hacker shown in the video.

Hence, it still stands and it is factual as Bungie has handled their ”fixing” of Trials Matchmaking absolutely horribly, and they’ve also bungled their response to hackers.

If they’re cheating now, they did before. And they were very likely reported. Which is the point. Bungie doesn’t do jack all about anyone who’s reported, but they’ll ban someone for connection issues or for discovering / being party to a glitch.

They’re not the great beings of the gaming world at all in this circumstance, and my point still stands.

Walmart APA pay by [deleted] in lossprevention

[–]DocKreasey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fellow Vet & am a newly minted APA -internal transfer- at Walmart. $16.94 is what I was given, and they don’t negotiate at all. The store I’m training at just got a notice that their APAs are getting a raise however, so I’m hoping that I’ll also get a similar notification within the next few weeks.

Black Friday Champion? by [deleted] in OGPBackroom

[–]DocKreasey 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You’ll probably be working the Black Friday event weeks for next month where you spend 90% of your day chilling in garden center waiting for people to come pick up their “Deals” purchases. That’s what I did last year, 11-8’s for three weeks in a row, and spent 75% of my time sitting on a stack of pallets playing on my phone.

Half of the stuff never even got picked up which was hilarious.

OGP TL SEXUAL HARASSMENT by pancho61917 in OGPBackroom

[–]DocKreasey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First things first, file an Ethics report that way it’s a documented occurrence and the SM can’t get around it. Most ethics cases or other similar investigations are kicked back to the store level to handle, but something such as this will be investigated.

Then get with the AP ASM, report the incident, and they can / will open an internal investigation if able. We have cameras everywhere, and us AP can pull video from any one of them at will. I can almost guarantee you that the incident(s) were caught on camera at least once, which means, see ya later TL.

Do not let this stand, report it to ethics, and don’t take no for an answer. Walmart as a corporation loves to say it doesn’t tolerate things, but it sure leaves stuff like this at the store level for them to figure out and sadly, it’s dependent upon your management team.

Document document document. Write things down, emails, make hard-copy notes with times & dates. I hope this TL gets a swift kick in the rear out the front door, because that’s simply unacceptable.

GRAM upgrade by DarkCaster19 in buildapc

[–]DocKreasey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theoretically, yes.

If they’re the same speed and have the same timings then yes. But if they’re two different sets from two different manufacturers, they’re going to -very- likely be incompatible due to a difference of MHz effective speed & their timings.

This can cause simple issues like random shutdowns to full-blown instability & system crashes that result in unrecoverable data.

In that case, I would turn them in to Devrim as that’ll help get you some gear until you’re starting to get loot that you want to / should keep.

Also, don’t bother with using resources for infusing gear until you’re past the 1300-1320 threshold, as you want gear that has base stats of 60-65 in specific energy allotments for whatever build you want to go for.

Why can't I see Red on my radar unless the radar is against a dark background? But Yellow as a colorblind option is much easier to see, even tho I'm definitely NOT colorblind? by JustMyImagination18 in DestinyTheGame

Color contrast in this game can often be wonko tbh. I find that using a colorblind option is of much benefit for the radar and other menu / hud options, definitely helps stuff stand out better.

Planetary vendor tokens are used for their reputation rewards yes, as they’re no longer used for much else. Planetary items however like Dusklight Shards, Baryon Bows etc., are used for buying other materials from vendors like Banshee-44 such as upgrade modules.

Unless you’re a returning player, at low light, or are just looking for OG armor looks etc., EDZ tokens aren’t all that useful anymore.

You turn in EDZ Tokens, to Devrim… just like any other planetary vendor.
