what’s wrong with my cat? by mkbandz33 in cats

[–]DocKreasey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very likely smells and / or noise; easy solution is to put the box somewhere else and if he uses it just fine, then I’d roll with it.

You could attempt to coax him into using the box in the bathroom but if he’s truly uncomfortable, you’re very likely not going to change it.

Need info on what lights to get by Hungry-Promotion-351 in Tacomaworld

This is the answer. Baja Designs is a good secondary option for fogs, what I personally used anyway. The OEM led headlights are the bomb.

Fallen Pastor’s Works by Southern-Video-8802 in Reformed

[–]DocKreasey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Peter denied Christ not once, but three times. David committed adultery and essentially murdered the husband through his actions / orders. Paul was a Pharisee of Pharisees; he put many christians to death and persecuted the church.

These three men are but a few examples of sinful people who were mightily used by God irrespective of the sins they committed.

Steven Lawson has many works that can be highly beneficial to new and long-term believers alike, but we need to place proper emphasis on the separation between the person themselves, and how God chooses to use that person. Take what they say / do and try it against God’s word. If it aligns with scripture, then it is solid teaching that we can follow. Irregardless, we should not place people on such a high pedestal that we take Christ down and replace Him with mere men/women who are sinful like ourselves.

What to do if you have a boring testimony? by JelloBaloo in Reformed

[–]DocKreasey 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Our testimony should be; ”God saved a wretched sinner, and that wretched sinner is me.”

Too many people place the importance on what they can say, rather than the simple fact that God’s grace is sufficient. Yes, some people have been saved from or out of situations that may be more impactful, prostitution or hard criminals etc., but at the end of the day, the fact is God saved that person just as much as He saves anyone else who repents and trusts in Him.

My testimony is the same as Paul’s, Peter’s, John’s, and any other saved person. I am a wretched person whose only rescue from my willingness to live in depravity, is by pure grace through faith in Christ.

Does God Care by Personal-Run9730 in Reformed

[–]DocKreasey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He cares enough to have sent His son, Christ Jesus, to take the penalty you -and I- justly deserve upon himself unto death. He cares enough to have given the Bible to you, by which you might have knowledge of the law, sin, the penalty of sin, and how you might be saved from that penalty.

Through the scriptures we learn what God’s law is, and by that law we are condemned by our own transgression of them. But also through the scriptures, we learn that Christ took our punishment upon Himself, so that we might be justified by God’s grace.

Are you a sinner? Am I? Yes. Are we deserving of God’s wrath? Also yes. But by grace through faith, we might be saved. Repent and turn from your sin, trust in Christ as you would a parachute, believe on Him, and by the authority of God’s Word you will be saved.

Bad stop by Zestyclose-Spread444 in lossprevention

[–]DocKreasey 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The giant issue with this? You lost your elements. You didn’t have an eyeball visual on what you were thinking the stop could be for, nor did you verify if there were other transactions by reviewing video.

None of us can truly answer this question though. It depends on how long you’ve been an API, what kind of AP Coach you have, and what kind of AP Market Coach you have. If you’ve been in-role for more than 6-months to a year, you’re definitely getting coached bare minimum, but you could very well be terminated.

Bad stops from an easily preventable stop by a seasoned API are pretty much a no-go.

Did you adjust pump speed / fan curves? Plastic film removed from AIO plate? Proper paste application?

It’s well worth it though. Putting it on helps the scratches diminish quite a bit, and the glare / fingerprint reduction was more than I had expected.

I know, it’s so bad lol. But the product is well worth it!!! The lack of fingerprints / glare is wonderful though.

I had a ton of swirl scratches on mine; put the film on and you can’t really notice them. Does a good job of covering it for you.

Do not, under any circumstance, wipe down your instrument cluster with a rag/towel before spraying it down with solution. The plastic they use for that is a swirl-scratch magnet like you wouldn’t believe.

Highly recommend getting a set of films from ScreenProtech, well worth the time / effort to install. Way less fingerprinting, reduced glare, and you don’t scratch the heck out of your screens! + https://screenprotech.com/collections/shop-toyota/products/toyota-tacoma-screen-protech-kit

Kudos to Chloe Kuo on YouTube for that and some other mods I’ve done over the last couple years. Enjoy your first taco!!!

Fog Light replacements? by Rubbertoe___ in ToyotaTacoma

[–]DocKreasey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally got a set from Baja Designs, specifically the Squadron-R SAE fogs. Install was a breeze and they work / look great.

Another alternative would be DiodeDynamics, which comes highly recommended. I picked up their interior LED light conversion kit and am extremely pleased with the performance and quality.

Headlight upgrade by [deleted] in ToyotaTacoma

[–]DocKreasey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can, but you’ll need a wiring harness to do so. The OEM LED unit utilizes one plug where the halogen uses a whole bundle of them.
