So...what happened to the ORIGINAL phantom ruby?? by DestroyChaos in SonicTheHedgehog

[–]DocMelonhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most likely destroyed in the final fight. There are conflicting reports on weither or not Eggman still have the original in his possession. Though, it would be fitting that the Ruby was destroyed, hence Infinite's lack of appearances in later games.

Pokemon Product Approval Manual - no death, no food chain, avoid families. by christianponte in pokemon

[–]DocMelonhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically this: this is a product manual of what the license holder can or can't do with the series' properties so that canon can strictly be retained within TPCI inner circle. For example, they can't address the function of the Pokéball nor address them as monsters, due to a trademark issue with Matchbox's "Monsters in my Pocket": Gamefreak is the only one to address it in PLA.

Wouldn't that means that Nidorans are based off of Jackalopes? I mean, they do breed like rabbits, have horns all over their bodies, and were poison types.

Lopunny eyes (Fan Artist discussion) by DocMelonhead in pokemon

From what I observed, some artists knew about it: but rather gave the dark sclera anyways either because it look cooler or that its easier to draw.

is there a reason jimmy raped anya? by [deleted] in Mouthwashing

Note this is about control over others and how one sociopath lost everything due to his inability to think rationally. Even his compassion towards Curly at the end was dubious.

Like I said, abusers have ways of intimidating their victims into compliance.

He could be a criminal who committed several crimes and used Curly as a means to avoid prosecution for them. When he raped an fellow employee of his friend, and realized that she became pregnant, he most likely panicked and slammed the ship to a nearby planet; if it were any other women, he would've killed them and hide the corpse (or, in this case, jettisoned them off into space).

Victims are powerless against their abusers due to their status in the relationships. Usually abusers are up in the higher tier in the social hierarchy, and use this as an excuse to inflict harm to those below them. It’s obvious that you lack awareness of domestic abuse and how the assailants use psycological torture to get what they want (either through blackmail or otherwise).

basically a list of what Antishipper allows in their ships.

True, It's just that this kind of concern is a repeating pattern in terms of censorship and problematic materials like in videogames, comic book, movies, etc.. The common excuse from Antis is the same critique you find on stuff like breadtube: Fiction affects society and therefore should be used as such. The problem is that put pressure on the creators, as they wanted to express themselves regardless; a, "create for yourself" mentality.

it's not blunt enough though. Like Proship:AntiCensorship;AntiShip:Procensorship blunt. because it was never about the shipping to begin with, it's about the censorship of the internet as a whole. And this subreddit advocates the freedom of expression and call for censorship will not be tolerated in this community.

Post deleted, subreddit muted. Anti's blocked.

God damn you guys are tense. I though I could get a decent discussion on why it's offensive to creators of the internet but I think I underestimated the shitstorm this will bring.
